Good morning, Lori.
Cute thread; thanks.
BTW .... when should I expect the new Welcome Graphics? *grin*
Good afternoon, ((((Amy))))!
[ To be continued later this evening -- have to give my kitty a B-A-T-H !!! ]
I wish! :)
That reminds me, here's a painting (print) we bought at The Market. It's of Hurricane Hugo.
You must be about a 7.5 which is the average shoe size now. Usually the ones I do find are made for the trendy teens. I REFUSE to wear the stupid looking things and torture my feet or my back. I wear my shoes until they are nearly falling apart as a result. I've even tried the high priced dept stores like Macy's, Dillars and Sears they start at 6 or 6.5. I sure can't afford Cook & Love who do carry small sizes, and where the average price is about $100.
Thought you were about due. LOL
Ohhhhh.......that sounds like fun. Yes, California is finally getting some nice weather for a change. It's long overdue. :-)
LOL. Thought you might like that.
I must admit, that Bear Family is pretty darned photogenic (if I do say so myself.). ;-)
LOL!!! Yer right. I was thinking that this morning.
Yes, he is fine now. I guess I panicked. I probably could have gotten the thorn out of his paw if I wasn't such a wimp. LOL.
Here is a picture of my Dachshund, Little Red Baron AKA "Bear". The other little shaggy dog is our Silkie Terrier, Jackie.
Awwwwwww.........those are some cute ones....especially the fishin' bears. :-)
Yep. 7.5 or a 7. I guess we are at the stage in our lives where comfort comes first. When I was younger I would torture my feet in shoes just because they were SO cute and fashionable. Now, I don't care. If my feet I hurt I hurt all over.
Personally, I prefer going barefooted whenever I can get away with it. :-)

Oh.....I LIKE that! Our taste is similar, I think. In our rushed trip through The Market I saw a booth that had prints like that, and would have liked to have looked at them, *sigh* but there was no time.
I am gathering up some of the photos we took while there. I haven't forgotten. :-)
Ummmmmmm.......would you believe they are in the mail? *grinning* backatcha.
I am so proud of our military too. Where would we be without them?
Thanks for sharing your day with us, (((((((Colleen))))))). It's always nice to know we're not alone, isn't it? That is what is so great about this website too. :-)
You're Welcome :-) Yes, it is always nice to know we are not alone. FR is a life saver, knowing there are folks that share many of the same views as I have.
This is Binky Boy writing you while Mama is cooking!
She didn't get out the camera, hands occupied while giving me my bath, but I found 'nuther kitty with a satisfied expression a lot like mine--
I LUV MY BATH!!
Used to kick and struggle, but learned it is
for my own good - and really relaxing!
(Pleez note I am much bigger - mostly black -
and have gorgeous medium long hair,
now clean and fluffy!)
Hi to Bear and Doxie --
Bear and Jackie say hello to fluffy, clean Binky Boy!
BTW, I just happen to have a picture of you, Binky Boy. Beautiful you are!
He came to us declawed (niece worked 12 hour shifts as a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse, and couldn't let him claw up the house or let him out), so he cannot go outside, unprotected and defenseless.
Since Snuggles Kitty died 4 years ago and he's 8 now, he's become quite calm and sedate.
Still, though, loves to 'talk' to us, and sing with me!
Oh good, I'm lookin forward to it.
Good post. Where did it happen?
(Hope your brother gets by here tomorrow, think he'll like John's Two Cents)
Thank You, Temple Owl :-) Stony Brook University
(Hope your brother gets by here tomorrow, think he'll like John's Two Cents)"
You're Welcome, Aquamarine. No pies thrown, and the protestors did behave themselves :-)
John, be sure to check into the Finest tomorrow :-)
oops, I keep spelling protesters incorrectly...oh well... guess I should use that 'spell' check feature on FR :-)
Have a good night, Aqua. 'See' ya tomorrow
I wouldn't have guessed that you were from New York. I thought you were a Texan.
I would guesstimate that our Armed Forces are burstin' at the seams with guys and gals like that. Gives me renewed pride in our Armed Forces.
That's not to say that pride was runnin' on "LOW", more like the cup over-flowed again. An ever-filling experience.
Going to close down shop & say goodnight. Power (and sigh)computer have gone out about 5 times .. just quickly.. couple minutes. in past hour but I know that can't be good for computer..
Sweet dreams to all & thank you for sharing your vitality here.. wouldn't it be nice to get together in a nice big room, sharing favorite beverages & telling tales & laughing?
Well, we do this here...sorta... cyber living room...
Billie, did get your FReepmail. lots to learn.. lots..
:) - you are so sweet & helpful
He is a Fine feline. I would love to get my hands in his fur!
I love cats, but alas, my Doxie does not. That's why we don't have one. Everything with four legs that is not identified as a dog is a "badger" to him. And his mission in life (as it should be for every dachshund worth his salt) is to rid the world of badgers. LOL
(hope you have a very happy Thursday)
