no but the reference was to the fact that teenagers at age 14, sometimes younger are having oral sex because they don't consider it sex, I have a very social nephew at that age and you ask him and he blushes.....my sister in law say they also hang out in groups, the parents think that is great but in fact they are having casual sex with each other, no biggie....

what I meant was, oops, the girls are having sex with different boys, they aren't going "Steady" like in the old days

when my sisterinlaw they hang out in big groups, they don't couple up I thought that is great because I think kids that age should just hang out and be friends and there is less likely to be sex

and she looked at me and set me straight, my other sister in law who has two girls, my sweet neices, not old enough for that yet, but soon, was appalled and was pondering whether to lock them up until age 18

I'm afraid you missed my point; my apologies if it was not clear. I was responding to the comment by Juvenile Court Judge Peggy Walker about how children are being raised:

Part of the problem, Walker said, is not enough parental supervision. Also, "A lot of it is culture — a culture with a great deal of violence and sex. It gives children a sense that this is a lifestyle, and it is an acceptable lifestyle, and that there are not consequences. Without the family network to counteract that, these children learn the hard way."

I agree with you that the young victim suffered grievously. Seven years old—just about the same age as my daughter! I could not bear the thought of something like this happening to her.

And I agree with you that the boys in this case are little monsters. But how did they get that way? The writer of the story pretends that it is a mystery to all:

The alleged attack has shocked residents in this town about 60 miles southwest of Atlanta and has caused them to wonder what societal forces are at work.

I am saying that the boys did not think up this crime on their own. They are the predictable result of years of sexual license in the popular culture. Yet there are those who will shrug it off, so long as they get the sexual titillation they crave. I should have added a "sarcasm" tag to my quip about the sexual revolution—I assumed that the sarcasm would be evident. Again, my apologies.

If they are doing this at the age of 10, what will they be doing by the age of 15. If the parents and the law don´t get them under control they will be building a gallows for these two.

I regret that I cannot cite specific references. I do recall controversities over growth hormones in livestock feeds used in feed lots to speed the increase in the weight of slaughter animals. As well as controversies about the use of animal parts in foodstocks for animals that develope BSE. Any search engine can find dozens of sites discussing Bovine Growth Hormones, both pro and con.

On a personal observation, while shopping at the mall, I have seen young girls, 9-10-11 years old developing breasts. To me, this seems to be rushing natures timetable for such development.
