From one of your news articles....

OK, for gosh sakes robbing the Amish. Is nothing sacred!!

Three men with handguns jumped out of the car and demanded money from the family, said LaGrange County Sheriff's Department Detective Sgt. Jeff Campos. One of the men in the buggy tossed his wallet to the robbers, who then fled in the car.

$1 stolen from wallet

A police officer in nearby Topeka later stopped a vehicle matching the description provided by the family. Police also recovered the guns, which they said the suspects had thrown from the car when they encountered the officer.

Police also recovered the $1 that was stolen and returned it to the robbery victim.

More than one-third of the county's

The car didn't shoot anybody -
The liberals say the gun did it, not the robbers.

Is NC a CCW state?

Yes. The victim was from South Carolina but there is also CCW reciprocity between the states.

The problem seems to be the victim was a true "victim", and not carrying. He was apparently depending on the "big sky theory"*. He lost.

*..."big sky theory" (Idiot Airplane Pilot Theorem #2) - It's a "big sky" out here, so there's no need to look out for other airplanes as they are so unlikely to hit you.

"...so some stores-- like the Harris Teeter on Highway 160 and York Road --stay open 24 hours."

In a row? Then why do they have locks on the doors?

sorry, old joke, I know...

CCW laws brought to you by the folks from the National Rifle Association.
So why aren't more Freepers members? Shouldn't we have more than 4 million members out of the 80 million gun owners in this country? Join today and if you're already a member, place the NRA initials in your tagline.
Thanks.

Good idea.

I wish I had the time to post all the tv news stories of the criminals here in Phx; at least Fox 10 actually shows mugshots of the arrested suspects; just a scant few of these crimes I've noticed ever make it to FReeperland.

I'm concerned about myself relying on here for quick news updates, and not recieving a condensed version of daily crimes, which the MSM national media refuses to do, even though the state of telecomunications and linked databases makes this entirely feasable.

Can you imagine the assault, rape, murder, etc..commited by illegal aliens and paroled repeat criminal offenders being reported everyday on the MSM as a "national crisis", since  the number of the crimes on a daily basis is absolutely staggering, and often involve grievous civil and human rights violations meted out on the victims by the perpetrators, and a predictable conspiracy ensues to deny those rights by police, prosecutors, and the media.

Over and over, ad nauseum, they initiate the same conspirital formula, and are never called accountable for their actions.

Now imagine a new National News Network that approached news reporting in that fashion. Think they would get good ratings?

PS: On a lighter note, check out my new car..we should start a FReeper race league..LOL
