After a chase through Harvard Square, Cambridge Police Department (CPD) officers arrested a man at around 7 p.m. yesterday for allegedly masturbating in public view in a Mt. Auburn Street window.
I always thought those Harvard types were jerkoff's and this proves it.

Apparently, the perp was easy to track down, as it was easy to spot a man with furry hands bumping into everything in his path...

There was a court case recently that may pertain to this. If I recall correctly, a man and woman were having sex in their own home when someone peeped in the window and saw them. They called the police and got the lovebirds arrested, but in the end I believe they were acquitted because you have a reasonable expectation of privacy in your own home.
I guess it will depend on how blatant it was and whether a "reasonable" person would do likewise in the privacy of their own home. If someone had to stand on tiptoe in a particular spot to see him, he'll walk. If he was standing in the window, it's another matter.
Here is an amusing video in this same vein. Watch it all the way to the end. (This is an R-rated link, and you should not follow it if you are a humorless prig.)
