WLIB is a lot scarier than Air America, IMO. The conspiracy theories that are accepted as pure fact by both hosts and callers are pretty incredible. And there seem to be more of them on WLIB than on Air America.
What do you think?
Anyone have a picture of Rhodes? I'm curious to see what she looks like, with all that hate spewing forth.

COURSE DESCRIPTION
The events of September 11, 2001, indisputably changed the course of American politics and history. This course is offered so students may examine various events and policies leading to 911. In particular, this course will focus largely on the specific destruction in lower Manhattan and the Pentagon. We will examine the official story and analyze it critically. We will consider alternative explanations of what occurrred as well. 911 was a catalyst for the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq as well as the attack on civil liberties in the United States. We will examine each of these with a critical eye. The goal of this course is to arrive at a solid understanding of how 911 has shaped our political future and to promote critical analysis by students of this catastrophic event and its aftermath.
This course is outside the scope of traditional "political science" in many ways. First it is "unscientific" in that it relies much on eyewitness accounts and speculation. Secondly, there is not yet a solid literature on the September 11 "attacks" or on the war on terrorism. This literature is emerging, particularly on the latter. Thirdly, this course will rely somewhat extensively on alternative news media accounts and a variety of films and videos in lieu of literature.

And she claims she was voted "Most Outstanding Woman in the Air Force?" There never has been such an award, nor is there one today. There are "Outstanding Airman" awards, but they have never been gender specific.
Also, she admits she was AWOL? Good gracious! And she is the Left's mouthpiece. How appropriate.
I hope this publicity put incredible scrutiny on Ms. Rhodes, and she is held accountable for her resume padding.

I freggin` love it. `Rats just keep digging themselves deeper into oblivion everyday. Yesterday Ted Blotto Kennedy holding an "moment of silence" anniversary for Arub Gharib, now this. Ahhh yes, the `Rats will soon be gone the way of the Whigs. Let them get themselves voted out of existence.
I used to work for Randi Rhodes in the 1990s at WJNO. Also interned around her at WSHE when she was an 80s hair rock band whore. She had me fired from her show when she found out I was putting through republican point of view callers on purpose and dumping half of the calls that were just the same cookie cutter "Oh Randi you are so great" phone calls. I made the point to her that radio comes across more interesting when there is a different point of view half the time and people can freely debate their opinions with you if you feel confident that you know it all.
I want everyone to be aware of this fact. Randi Rhodes is a rock and roll DJ who happen to fall into a talk radio show gig that at the time of when she got it...it had nothing to do with politics. She only took on politics when Lewinsky became such a huge scandal.
She is and always will be an armchair genius. Nothing more but certainly and most possibly a lot less.
