I had no idea what caused the fire until after it was out. The only thing I could see in the kitchen were the flames. The smoke was too thick. I'm well aware of the fact that you don't put water on a grease fire. The fire had gone up into the range hood. I threw water from 6 or 7 feet away. The water popped the light bulb on the range hood. The fire went out. The fire department arrived after it was over. End of story. What is your problem?
