Zogby Poll: Bush would still beat Kerry today
Zogby ^ | John Zogby

Posted on 04/29/2005 3:30:05 PM PDT by Nascardude

Released: April 26, 2005 Red/Blue Divide Still Evident: Red States Give Bush 50% Job Approval, 42% in Blues; War on Terror Bush’s Strength—Low Marks on Other Facets of Job; Handling of Social Security Nets Lowest Score; Bush Would Still Beat Kerry Today (46% to 41%), New Zogby Poll Reveals

President George W. Bush, despite low marks on most facets of his job, would still beat Democrat John Kerry (46% to 41%)—and would still win handily in the Red States that handed him his re-election victory last fall (50% to 36%). That’s the finding of a new Zogby International survey of 1011 likely voters conducted from April 15 through 19, 2005, with a margin of error of +/-3.1 percentage points. The Zogby America poll also found that President Bush’s initiative to reform social security is unpopular with nearly two-in-three (64%) voters.

Zogby International includes the results of the survey in tabular format, including an analysis of the breakdown by “Red States” and “Blue States,” the designation given the Republican-leaning states that supported the President and the Democrat-leaning states that supported Senator Kerry, respectively, in the last election.

I wonder if any of the DU retards have seen this one. Not even their beloved polling hero, John Zogby can back them up on this one.

By the way, why in god's name would Zogby want to waste his time, money, and resources polling an election that happened 6 months ago? That sounds like a huge waste of time if you ask me. If you're gonna run a polling company, poll things people actually give a crap about. Why not poll who would win if the Thomas Jefferson/John Adams election were held today?

Wow, between all the recounts that took place in Ohio and this, Bush has won this election about 48,000 times by now.

It does seem like a waste of time and money. Why doesn't he go back to 2000 while he's at it?!

I usually don't care what the polls say, though I DO wish they would take a poll to see how many of us just basically want to see Kerry "beat" with a big old Hickory switch, LOL!

If this doofus comes up for air again in 2008, I'm not sure I could take it!

I agree.

But think what you would be seeing / hearing if the poll showed an opposite result.

That's pretty funny. They couldn't predict Bush beats Kerry on election day, but they can now.

No it won't. The RATs only believe polls that confirm what they believe. Which is a good thing.

"Handling of Social Security Nets Lowest Score"

Anybody that tries to tell the truth about SS and reform it is going to be bloodied. Dems are PO'd that he'd even try in the first place. Bush has brought this to the forefront at his own peril (when he didn't have to) but felt future generations would be cheated if he didn't. Only history can tell us how it will end up but I would never bet against Bush.
