I posted this article before I realized it was already put up TWICE by other Freepers. Some things are too good to pass up...
Anyway, it's astonishing to me how the college-campus roles have changed in my 44-year lifetime. These days, it's the RIGHT-wingers who are the satirists, ribald humorists and attackers of hypocrisy. Whereas the LEFT, who now occupy positions of power in academia, are the humorless, paranoid, puritanical Establishment.

The problem is, he's going to be too tall to be a pilot...maybe Annapolis... If he can't swim, Coast Guard Academy....any one over 6 foot doesn't have to know how to swim.

Not that it matters, he'll be an excellent swimmer. He's already comfortable in the water and we plan to make sure everyone is well-schooled. Besides, he is planning to be an Eagle Scout and I don't think you can get that without some water rescue stuff, I don't think I've ever seen one that didn't have the badge.

We did try to keep doing it. They confiscated Testaclese and put two of us on housing probation. If we do anything wrong we risk getting kicked out of housing.
