The ratings book released in the last couple of weeks shows Imus' show in freefall. This is just a stunt to try to lure listeners and viewers. Do not buy it.
I have listened to Imus since the early 70's. I used to laugh like hell at his sense of humor and the way he could spot a phoney. When he saw a phoney he let them have it. Now he IS the phoney. He is just nasty, not funny and a bore. I tune in once in a while but he gets worse each time I hear him.
It can not be too much longer before MSNBC pulls the plug on this "over the hill" has been. He is mean and mean-spirited. MSNBC should quit the charade and put his wife on. Imus has not had an origional idea since he married the equally "self-important" Mrs. Imus.
Terrible program,BORING, BORING, BORING.
There is no way she needs 3 hours in make up. Maybe 3 minutes. She's a total fox. Imus is just pissed his wife got knocked up and trapped him to marry her. Talk about a barf alert!
The URL tags indicate her name is Contessa Brewer - never heard of her. Too bad - I was kind of hoping he was refering to al Qatie Couric.
This from the man who was once described by one of his on-air minions as looking like a "sun-dried buzzard".
contessa brewer has had it in for Imus since he "outed" her on the air one morning for having a live-in black boyfriend and it was learned later that apparently her parents DIDN'T know. her dad is a baptist minister... OOPS
Who is Imus whining about, please, inquiring minds want to know! Maybe in our case, it should read "'Enquiring' minds want to know", trash news junkies that we are.

She did not have choice. She works for MSNBC. The assigned her to Imus. He treated her terribly. I heard Imus and his gang call her a c*nt, wh*re, b!tch and other things on the air. She was continually sexually harassed. Once during and Imus show call in, Senator McCaine asked Contessa why she put with the crap. She responded that she had not choice.
Imus is the classic dry drunk.
Back atcha katie and the jackass ya rode in on.
