Posted on 05/04/2005 3:19:04 PM PDT by rdb3
All right. Finished Medved, and on KSKY-660AM, Savage follows. Get this: He immediately starts in with the First Lady, talked about how the "Bushes" played the Christian vote for suckers, and he gives compliments the first ladies of France and Germany over ours. Next, he whines about his being "blacklisted." This mouthbreather is something else! Have at it. I had to share.

Not listening. I quit listening to Savage, mm, let me think, around 3 years ago.
I've never listened to him, not for any particular reason. Now I have one.
I like Savage. :-)
Oh, I see; he prefers leaders who humiliate their wives with mistresses.
Very telling. People, keep supporting this fool.
I give that raving maniac 6 more months and he will be working for Air Amerika
Oh, I like him, too. He drinks too much but he is hard, and real, and funny, and sarcastic, and dry...
As a native Manhattanite I guess I like where he comes from (mentally)...
I cannot stand the sugarball kiss-up Hannity, though he is the cutest guy on TV.....
I could probably stand a five minute conversation with him, but anything in excess of that would stir homicidal tendencies.
The man sounds manic depressive. Extreme highs, followed by incredible lows. Extremely entertaining!
I like listening to the dude, but he needs to give this topic a rest.
I simply don't understand the attraction for you. He's never impressed me with his intellect and what there is is so overwhelmed by his ego. Where do you get an ego like that? I managed to listen for a few months until I realized every show was the same. Now I listen for five minutes a week during commercials.
I quit listening to him. He goes off on some of the absolutely crazy rants that lasts and lasts and last and last and last, and lasts . . . see what I mean. I got tired of his constant ranting.
Next! This one's been milked dry.
As a prime candidate for a straight jacket.
No, his lead off hit today was the First Lady. I mean immediately launched into her. I found it ironic, especially since his opening includes the words "psychological nudity." Imagine that...
Mrs. Bush was ill advised to make such remarks at her husband's expense.
LOL! Are you sure that you posted this photo to the right thread? There are a couple of other threads where this photo would have been very appropriate. :D
Does he drink all that much? I know he does enjoy the culinary pleasures--it's fun listening to those segments.
I like how he doesn't worship politics or politicians.
I like how he irks the heck out of those who do. :-)
Re. Hannity, I haven't watched/listened to him in a while.
I like Savage a lot, he's my favorite talkshow host. He may be abrasive and really charged up but he isn't afraid to take things on and even if something is wrong on our side of the fence, he isn't afraid to point it out.
Yep he just worships himself.
Give me time!
Give Uncle Mike a chance for that Jack Daniels to kick in...he'll be tawkin' about making tuna salad in the Catskills and wearing a dead man's coat and all and spinnin' records from the 50's! That's the Good Uncle Mike your just catching the Bad Uncle Mike right now.
Michael, lithium is your friend.
Same here. Sometimes when he's going off on erroneous rants about Christianity and/or the Bible I have to flip him off, but that's not very often.
Well, he certainly TALKS about drinking nearly every time I have heard him. Sometimes he sounds a little sploshed, as we say...
Not Jack Daniels - vodka. I've seen him at one of his events several years ago downing glass after glass of vodka, and getting more and more obnoxious. He mocked people who were getting up and leaving. We got up and left as well.

Oh. Well that explains everything. He needs to switch to Jack Daniels.
LOL, he's a legend in his own mind :-)
I just want to stick up for the first lady. Visualize Theresa before uttering (no pun intended) any complaints about Laura.
or Elmer T. Lee's finest. Maybe it would smooth out his peaks and valleys a bit.
That's the best part of his shtick.
I love a conservative who's got enough grit to ruffle some feathers, like Savage and Nugent.
I don't always agree with his take, but unlike the RNC fellatrixes Hannity and Snow, Savage is always his own man.
I've never listened to him and based on your report, I see I haven't missed a thing.
This is what Savage posted on his site! SAVAGE BLACK LISTED BY ALL MEDIA OUTLETS We expect blacklisting from the MSM. But, what does it say to you when the entire Fox News network refuses to cover the leading conservative voice in radio?. I am the only radio personality to have 3 best sellers in a row. Yet, Fox News blacklists me because OReilly is afraid to debate me, while Sean Vanity is incapable of any debate. They continue supporting a failed presidency, the first ladys vulgar vaudeville routine before the liberal press and a failed war, which fewer and fewer Americans support. Instead of interviewing me, a true independent conservative, they insult their base (like Bush) by covering the runaway bride, fingers in food, American Idol, and Michael Jackson's porno.
I am used to swimming against the current, to spawn my ideas in the fertile waters of the independent American Mind. But, I have not encountered a total and absolute media blackout as I do now. As my message of Borders, Language, and Culture continues to penetrate America, the government/media complex has circled their wagons. During Stalins dictatorship in the ex-Soviet Union, people were either sent to prison camps, executed, or made invisible. In America, Michael Savage has now been made invisible.
Because I continue to support Borders, Language, and Culture, the power mad tyrants adhere to their own definition of borders, language, and culture. To them, their borders are limited by Washington D.C.; their language is government-ese; and their culture is I scratch your back, you give me an interview.
Despite this Stalinist campaign against my independent thinking, my radio show continues to grow and thrive; while my 3rd book in the trilogy "Liberalism is a Mental disorder", continues to sell briskly. It is now on the NY Times best seller list for the 3rd week in a row. Thank you for your support
Jack Daniels is OK if I'm making a hot toddy with lemon and honey when I have a cold, but for just sippin', Elmer T. Lee is fine stuff.
He does deserve some sympathy, though, because of his disability. He has lost use of his arms, as they are always engaged in patting himself on the back.
He does not stand for anything. His "opinions" are simply based on whatever will get him ratings. In this regard, he is no better than Bill Clinton.
Here's my review of his last live show at the Chronicle Pavillion in Concord. See for yourself.
It sounds like .38sw was at the Marin show, where he insulted the older people (who were dressed in evening attire as opposed to shorts and tees) as the left in disgust.
Just like Hannity and the runaway bimbo.
I think he is more disappointed with her, than angry at her. He used to go ga-ga over her beauty, grace and class. The fact that she stooped to gutteral, bestialty jokes you would expect from liberal pukes like Rosie and Whoopi, is what really upset him. His image of her is now tarnished and he can't handle it.
ROFL! Very clever.
Is that a Royal there on the left?
Michael claims that his ratings is great, But the truth is that Mark Levin on Wabc 770 Ny has much bette ratings than savage, But look what the angry Savage write on his site...
Michael Savage Bucks Trend; Leaps on WOR
While talk radio in general lost a large percentage of its core audience from the preceding three months, Michael Savage bucked that trend on WOR (in NYC persons 12+). In his 6 PM hour, he achieved a 3.3 share; his 7 PM hour pulled an astonishing 3.9 share, and in his 8 PM hour he pulled a 3.3 share.
By not pushing the Republican Party line, Savage who identifies himself as an independent conservative continues to draw new listeners, while other conservative talkers lose audience.
