It's when you treat them as human that they get out of control. They are not people, and they don't think like people.
Kisses and treating them like children doesn't do near as much for them as treating them like dogs. They like being told what to do better than anything.
If that doesn't work nothing will. I won't keep dangerous dogs.
One of these days, those Rott's are going to decide that they have had enough.

My grandfather had a German Sheppard on his farm when we (5 grandchildren) were younger. She was the greatest dog. We would climb all over her, tug on her ears and tail and she would just lay there and watch us.
