FReepers, it is an amazing thing to witness. I'm about an hour from Los Angeles and plan to go to the David Rosen trial on Tuesday.
I have been on the phone calling radio news stations and local TV affiliates in Los Angeles to see if they were covering the story. No one knows about the story. How can that be possible? Not even KFWB knows, the main news radio station in Los Angeles.
The mainstream media is going to have to be dragged kicking and screaming into covering this story. It has the potential to derail Queen Hillary's run for the White House. And they are ignoring it.
What did Hillary know, and when did she know it? She is always in control of everything. It is inconceivable that Rosen would have made phony reports for the FEC without her authorization.
If any of you can be of help, get on the phones, send faxes, and send emails. Call talk radio. Get this sucker covered!
Can anyone in the L.A. area sit in on the trial and take notes? I don't think that I can do it other than on Tuesday.
I expect if there is any news worthy items that come up in the trial L.A. Times will run a front page story on Abu Ghraib.

I knew Dan Rather shouldn't have retired - if Dan were still doing the news you know this story would lead. It's not about the validity of the sources, it's about the seriousness of the charges and all that.

The loons in the "looney" state of Cal. come from New York City and TEXAS, like CA State Senator Jack Scott, a native of Sweatwater, TX. Most other people know how to behave.

I just called the WASHINGTON POST and asked if they were covering the story. Someone at the news desk said that they were checking the daily budget and she'd know in two hours. What does that mean? I will call back. Can anyone imagine if this were a Bush fundraiser? L.A. would have 20,000 additional people in the city tomorrow, only half of whom would have sneaked over the border that morning.
Which is EXACTLY why they're ignoring this story. Don't worry Doug, the blogosphere will take up the issue, I wouldn't expect the MSM to cover it.
After all it's not about Tom Delay's ethics, but rather Clintoon's ethics, a true oxymoron.
Did we expect anything else? How about Court TV or do they only do murder cases, etc.

Plug in "David Rosen" on Google: you get virtually nothing. Add the word "trial" and you get the blogosphere. MSM is nowhere to be seen on this one anywhere on the web.
If it were a Republican, the headlines on the liberal rags and the propaganda channels would be screaming about it 24/7.
Tony Snow was interviewing Peter Paul this morning, wherein Paul said that he's suing the Clintons in CA. The Clinton's attorney, Paul said, is insulting the courts.

You know, it's still infuriating, no matter how much we talk about media bias, that they TOTALLY IGNORE STORIES LIKE THIS because it hurts their cause. It's so transparent and yet, still unbelievable. It's like we live in the former soviet union as far as media coverage goes. I still can't believe that not only was the Sandy Berger story ignored, but that the book was not thrown at him. What is going on here?
