Apparently Arabs like this movie

They'll be using it as propaganda for years to come...

Not just the unconstrained Christian bashing, it also glorifies cowardice.

Were the Muslims beheading the infidels?

Ha, yeah right.

Which actually raises the question, why would Muslims like this movie? It makes them look waaayyyy too nice as the infidels are leaving, the Muslims having given the Christian infidels better treatment than they received (this point is spoon fed to the audience in rather stilted dialogue...meant to be oh so dramatic).

The only Muslims that will like this bit is sort of secularized European Muslims. The real McCoys aren't going to like this at all, as it makes them look, well, a bit weak.

I knew it was going to be bad, but ancient battles are almost irresistible for me. I wish I hadn't seen this. All that said, let me go on record and say that no matter what was promised in Alexander, I did NOT see that flick...I don't care what kind of battles they have, NO way man!

I went to see it Saturday night. I went with 3 other people. Two of them fell asleep. Trust me there was no crowd. It was definitely PC BS. Very despicable, greedy trouble making Christians and honorable, persecuted Muslims. While I doubt its veracity I did find it slightly entertaining however but I was the only 1 out of 4 that did.

I use to be a fan of Every One Loves Raymond, but it got raunchier as the years went by. Then they add that loony Christian couple, Amy's parents, on their show to bash the community as kooky Jesus freak hypocrites! I was so sorely disappointed! Too bad! It started out so good! HELLywood is digging it's own grave year after year!!

It could also have something to do with the fact, that it was generally a pretty nice weekend all over the country, and a lot of people chose to do stuff outside, and just didn't go to the movies.

The only film I'm interested in being released this year is TL, TW, a TW.

BTW, could it be the reason the box office is behind this year is beacause The Passion saved them at the start of last year? Made huge money and dragged people in to see other movies also playing. Of course Hollywood would like to forget that.

In protest to the garbage that Hollwood has been producing, our family has been in boycott mode. We are apparently not alone.

But really...like all the others, it's just a movie, designed to generate revenue...not a documentary.

They can't figure out why this movie is a bomb?

Imagine a movie released during WWII treating Imperial Japan as full of genuinely nice people who actually didn't want war, and Nazis as victims of various fantastic misunderstandings by their crude, ruthless opponents.

Then imagine how the tickets to this movie would have sold!

"Warriors of God", published May 2001, by James Reston. Chapter Two: Kingdom of Heaven....... This book was written and published during the waning years of the Clinton administration, a time when conservative Christianity was under fire and was besieged by the might of the Clinton admionistration's secular establishment.

James Reston, the author, is suing Ridley Scott, the director for taking his work and using it without permission. Ridley Scott called Reston and discussed the possibility of turning his book into a movie and Reston is using this conversation/phone call as the basis for his lawsuit.

As to the movie - it is a must see. The message of the righteous crudaser comes through in the movie even though it is written, produced and directed in a fog of secular liberal agnosticism. Up to this point in time, the history of western civilization was the history of the Christianity. The interior motivations of the screenplay characters shows how different the common mindset was regarding reality, mans place in the world and his relationship and duty to God. Don't listen to the whiners who berate this as a PC mish mash of secular anti-christian propaganda, this movie demonstrates,(in spite opf the best intentions of the director and screenwriter) that Chrsitendom was threatened by ferocious hoards of muslims driven by cultural fanaticm and fear of their moon God, Allah.

James Reston must be sleepless in Seatle with all the activities since Sept. 11,2001. Here is a quote from the introduction of "Warriors of God" his book about Richard the Lionheart and Saladin in the Third Crusade (1187 A.D.)

(Page xviii)

Here, Holy War was in its infancy but practiced at the height of its ferocity. In the first instance it was a Christian Holy War that was met in response and in reaction by the Muslim concept of Jihad. Jihad is, by definition, a defensive concept, conditioned upon the provocation of an unbelieving agressor. In the Koran the believer is called upon "to fight in the way of God with those who fight with you.....but agress not: God loves not the agressors"(2:190)

And so it is an irony of history that today, the word "jihad"strikes fear in the hearts of many Westerners and Western governments who associate it with terrorism and Islamic fanaticism. But there is nothing in Islamic history that rivals the terror of the Crusades or the Christian fanaticism of the twelfth century.

the worst thing for the movie industry is that outside of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith,

When one of the Star Wars prequels is the summer highlight, that's a problem. Although this one looks better than the last two travesties.

However, we do have Fantastic Four (Marvel Comics) and ...... the Legend of Zorro out in September .... and .....

Dukes of Hazard could be good! except it's written by Broken Lizard ..... but there's Batman Begins! starring the racist a****** from Shaft, Christian Bale

and..... Hairy Potter in November?

And then of course Narnia.

I wish there was a movie being made that I'd actually be interested in seeing. The last movie I think I paid to see was Spiderman II. I used to go once a month back in the day.

This summer I will probably see Batman and war of the worlds, none of the other offerings turn my crank.

Oh...I may see Land of The Dead, the epic george romero zombie film.

Movies are doing poorly because:

Ticket prices too high
Poogy bait and popcorn cost too much
Sound is turned way too loud
Movies are tooooo looonnng
Only one movie out of a thousand is worth seeing

But mostly because after the actor playing the part in the movie has in private life joined the Hollywood Weirdos and told you that Americans are the scum of the Earth, it's hard to see that actor in any role other than as a lefty nutcase.

Batman trailer looked good, as did Star Wars. Saw the Narnia trailer online yesterday...it looks AWESOME.

I will not see War of the Worlds starring gay Tom Cruise.

I will definitely see Fantastic Four! Zorro, I have my doubts....

All that said, Narnia will be great, so if all is crap till December, that's ok.

R. Scott really blew this one....this show (I've heard...will NOT go see it) makes Christians as vial, hateful people where as the Muslims are outstanding, great people...NOT!!! Here we go again...rewriting history....liars completely...

I'll never go see one of his films again. He's such an unbeliever....and LIAR!!!

Count me in as part of the boycott. Haven't been to a movie in years. Won't waste my time or money. Maybe if the bucks stop flowing, Hollywierd will take the hint.

The day is coming when a film will depict Adolf Hitler as the only force in the world who tried to prevent Stalin from taking over Europe first and then the rest of the world. And for what? So the American President FDR could endorse the enslavement of millions of Europeans by the communists.
Remember in "Animal Farm", it's the pigs who write the history books.
