Good Lord. Uh, Officer? If you tell a kid to grab yer gun he's going to put his finger on the trigger because he doesn't know any better. You're supposed to.
Idiot.

"The projectile went into the floor.Good thing it wasn't a bullet.

Glad you stopped before you got "bang"ed up. It takes great personal "pow"er to stop before people begin "shooting holes" in your argument.

Well! That's a cheap "shot"!
But I see where you're coming from. I'll try to take "stock" of my writing and get a "grip" on myself. I'll "aim" to keep the puns to a minimum. I don't want to "trigger" a backlash here!

First, WHAT is a 'school resource officer'???
A resource officer is a real police officer posted at a school. We have one here at the Jr. High where I work. Fortunately for us, he is a highly trained professional, member of the SWAT team, all around good guy and has volunteered for this post to protect the kids and reach out to "at risk" students while he can still have an influence on them....before they become full-fledged criminals.

Isn't vomit considered a 'projectile'? Perhaps the 'projectile emitter' emits vomit.

Will this incident "trigger" an investigation? Will they "fire" the officer? I'll bet the school board will be "gunning for his job! His nerves have got to be "shot" after this.I just bet when he got back to the office his boss let him have it with both barrels

"Not very smart to do, but certainly not a case for the gun control zealots to use either."
Acutally, it makes a good case for disarming cops...Their weapons seem to "accidentally" discharge much more than those of the average citizen.

Miller was trying to explain to the students that the holsters are so secure that no one could take an officer's gun. At that point, Miller told a student to try and take the gun out
To: Stew Padasso
Man, are cops idiots ?
Is is not daily that we're having innocent bystanders getting shot, hundred+ rounds in the air not hitting the perps.
Are city cops unable to shoot? Maybe they need to hang out with some redneck hunters who'll show them a thing or two about how to properly handle weapons, and how to hit he target with minimal lead in the air.

This wasn't an accidental discharge...it was negligent. I think the officer needs a huge dose of training and a considerable attitude adjustment.
