Newsweek circulation has been declining for years due to their leftist leanings, this will expedite their obsolesence.

But it could happen faster for my taste. I say that the families of those killed in Afghanistan should sue Newsweek for civil damages.

AND they should be prosecuted for negligent homicide! Isn't it manslaughter if your carelessness kills somebody? This is not just a civil matter, this is a crime.

You're on target--not only should the families of those killed sue Newsweek, but the federal government should also get in line with a lawsuit. This was not merely a simple mistake--Newsweek failed to practice a simple rule of responsible journalism: Double check your facts before going to print.

Because Newsweek was so hot to go to press with a story given by a "credible source", we now have a bunch of extremists who have the excuse they were looking for to declare Jihad against the US.

In case the boneheads at Newsweek (and all the other magazines of that ilk) haven't heard, terrorists are not a group to be toyed with. A paltry apology for not getting their facts straight means NOTHING to those that harbor ill will against the US.
