Oh great. Now they're start calling me Colonel Sanders.I wonder how many people with the last name Sanders have actually been promoted so someone could get a laugh, as in Catch-22.

And to think it all started because Enterprise wrote some joke and I was joking back at him. I still don't see why you couldn't be Pope, too.
That would add mondo stroke and legitimacy to your Generalhood.

You do know he never really made that speech ... Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!
Otter: Germans?
Boon: Forget it, he's rolling.
Bluto: And it ain't over now. 'Cause when the goin' gets tough...
Bluto: the tough get goin'! Who's with me? Let's go!
Bluto: What the f**k happened to the Delta I used to know? Where's the spirit? Where's the guts, huh? "Ooh, we're afraid to go with you Bluto, we might get in trouble." Well just kiss my ass from now on! Not me! I'm not gonna take this. Wormer, he's a dead man! Marmalard, dead! Niedermeyer...
Otter: Dead! Bluto's right. Psychotic, but absolutely right. We gotta take these bastards. Now we could do it with conventional weapons that could take years and cost millions of lives. No, I think we have to go all out. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part.
Bluto: We're just the guys to do it.
D-Day: Let's do it.
Bluto: LET'S DO IT!

I still don't see why you couldn't be Pope, too. That would add mondo stroke and legitimacy to your Generalhood.....and Stalin could no longer facetiously ask "How many divisions does the Pope have?"
Because the answer would be four.

And look he's modest TOO!It's not modesty, it's honesty. But thanks.
I'm just glad those words existed, and I am stunned at how well they translated to politics.

Wowser! Good rant. I almost feel as if I ought to read it again with a march playing in the background.Any future iteration of this post (and I will be posting it on occasion when morale flags) will have a march MIDI or the Battle Hymn of the Republic clickable link. Additionally, another freeper requested I redact any of the "G-ddamned" stuff (perhaps in favor of a simple "damned"?). There will be modifications, and I will add new text to it next time as well.
