I want to do either, in service.

I've done some serious service work for Narcotics Anonymous lately. I LOVE one of their traditions: "For our group purpose there is but one ultimate authority—a loving God as He may express Himself in our group conscience. Our leaders are but trusted servants, they do not govern."

I hope to be a trusted servant for the conservative cause I so love. And if I ever lead, it will also be in the spirit of service, not governance.

Now, if we could just send this morale boost to the pubbies in the congress.... They need to be reminded why they were elected in the first place- it wasn't so they could cave in under democrat pressure and underhanded tactics.

The democrats are never going to stop. They don't want to "get along" and they don't want "compromise". They know what this is about-power. Repubs need to grow a spinal cord and be eternally vigilant to dem threats and various propaganda/mis-information campaigns, if they want to stay in power.

The future of the Nation is at stake. The ideologies of the two parties couldn't be more opposite. The Republicans need to keep reminding people of what they stand for/make their case to the people, and we need to do our part.
