Not asking you to accept theocracy, merely stating my preference. Funny how on the link you posted, one of the criticisms of Pope Pius XII is that he signed a concordat that stated the Church would not interfere with the state, yet that is exactly what libs like yourself want from the Church in the U.S.A. The more it changes, the more it stays the same.
Kosher salt does not taste like regular table salt (which is usually iodized and tastes like it) it is much better. I use it when preparing food all the time.

More Catholics voted for Bush than Kerry. Catholics are slowly rejecting the left.

"If every Catholic stopped voting for Rats, the DemocRATic party would cease to exist".

True. But also true:

If every black stopped voting for Rats, the DemocRATic party would cease to exist.

If every Jew stopped voting for Rats, the DemocRATic party would cease to exist.

If every atheist stopped voting for Rats, the DemocRATic party would cease to exist.

If every Protestant stopped voting for Rats, the DemocRATic party would cease to exist.

Considering anyone who support separation of institutionalized religion and government to be a lib is a self-comforting oversimplification. Here the news for you: division between liberals and conservatives is not all about religion.

The drawing of parallels between role of Catholic Church in Germany in 1933 and in USA now is preposterous. Of course, Church and state should be separated. But at the time that idea hit Pius XII Catholic Church was one of few political forces able to resist Nazis. Instead Pope decided to take advantage of the situation.

Forget about dead Jews. But was it good for European nations and the World or anybody?

If you say so.

Depends on your definition of liberal and conservative.

Must be nice to indulge in double standards. Berate America for any breach of the so-called "separation of Church and state" AND upbraid the Catholic Church for indulging in the very thing libs like you promote at the same time! Can't have it both ways, my friend. The Christians can't be wrong ALL the time.

Forget about dead Jews. But was it good for European nations and the World or anybody?

Christians suffered under the Nazis as well. Or are you unfamiliar with that?
