LPAC has sunk to a new low. On Tuesday the Ramada Inn on Zorn Ave. in Louisville, KY hosted the recruiting team from the United States Military Academy for a seminar for prospective West Point Cadets. On their website, LPAC gave few details about their plans simply calling it a "Counter-Recruitment Event". Well what's an LPAC event without the steely eyed Patriots of the Louisville Chapter of Protest Warrior and a few FReepers to keep 'em honest...if that's possible?

Since I've seen what some Lefties have done to crash Military Recruiting efforts on college campuses we were unsure what LPAC was planning to do. Simply protest outside or try to disrupt the seminar inside the hotel. Not wanting the latter to occur I went to the Ramada after work on Monday and alerted them to the protestors coming the next day. I was assured they would have extra security and no one would be allowed in. The Sales Director was very nice and she understood we'd be off the property holding a "Support Our Troops" rally and counter the Leftists. She told me that her Dad had gone to West Point and she thanked me for the heads up.
When we arrived on Tuesday we occupied a big grassy median and set up the boombox and unfurled all our new Armed Service flags (Thanks, SheWolf!) and our standard assortment of PW signs. In went my new CD I burned with some great Patriotic music (military bands, Charlie Daniels, Toby Keith, and Darryl Worley. Thanks iTunes!) and we commenced OPERATION: GOLDEN KNIGHTS against the lone LPAC protestor. She was soon joined by six more of them...but we soon got our own backup from an unexpected source.
The Ramada contracts with the local MEPS Station to house new recruits who ship out the following day for boot camp. Several of those fine young men came out and joined our FReep and we all had a BLAST! We each thanked them for their service and I think they enjoyed themselves. The media showed up and I got a lot of camera time as you'll see in my links below.
Once agian our thanks to the young men who were heading off to defend this Republic and our Freedom who joined us. You are who we do this for and we salute you all. May the Lord bless and keep you safe on the journey ahead of you.
That's the one! It will put LPAC's big banner (what they call big anyway) to shame, hehe..
bmwcyle put it best when the Code Pinkos brought out some worthless banner to counter our MOAB. He said, "ours is bigger than theirs!"

You should demand that WAVE print a correction identifying y'all as members of FR, rather than " a noisy, competing group of protesters".
There was a little exchange you guys might have missed.
James Zambrowski came over and was talking briefly to one of the young men who had recently enlisted. This was the kid with the tatoos and the shaved head.
So James asks the young man about his tatoos, and then asked him this unbelievably insulting question. He asks, "so would you be upset if someone watching the broadcast saw your tatoos and your shaved head and thought that you were a racist?"
Nevermind that they are going to shave your head in the military, so that hardly makes one a skinhead. I just think Zambrowski was trying to be a jerk and make a terrible insinuation that our military is full of racists. This was outrageous!
To his great credit, this young gentleman of 18 yrs of age and possessing of wisdom far greater than the pathetic leech Zambrowski, responded with dignity and grace: He calmy rebutted, "Why would I sign up to defend a nation that is known as "the Great Melting Pot" if I were such a racist?" Zambrowski skulked off.
Watching the media in action like that was pretty revealing.

Absolutely, Zip! I am so glad that we Conservatives have started making a public stand against the old hippy contingent. It's my way of paying them back for the disrespect they showed my father and other soldiers back in Vietnam. I am lovin' it!!
LPAC is the "Louisville Peace Action Community" here in Louisville. They really should change that to be "Leftist Protestors Are Crybabies" -- thanks to Brent, that is actually one of our PW signs on the missions against LPAC! hehehe
That old hag in the video was so condescending. Telling the reporter that our guys were misinformed and talking to them was like talking to a tree. She has no clue as to how ignorant and uninformed she is. I am sooooooo sick of that propaganda line that the war in Iraq is based on a lie. Liberals always saying that Bush lied, when he did not lie. Never lied. Said he would not tolerate anyone who would lie to him. Does that sound like someone who would lie? I hope I live to see the dingbats finally come to realize that Bush was right.
I agree, Nan. That one dingbat you were referring to is at every single event where we counter-protest. She is always rolling her eyes and claiming that everyone else is an idiot. She tried to debate me once at one of our counter-protests back in the days where we would just stand right next to them. She's an idiot. I think she's just a left-over relic of the Vietnam era. She certainly talks like one. I can't stand her either.
We've changed our tactics somewhat now and we no longer stand among them. We take the opposite side of the street instead. This has helped my morale greatly because there was nothing worse than having those idiots talk really loudly together about how stupid all the "right-wingers" are -- they always tried to taunt rather than having an actual discussion. So juvenile!
