Almost from the moment Arianna Huffington's blog (huffingtonpost.com) went live last week, it became the epicenter of digital snarkiness. Seemingly everyone with access to the Weband more than a few spitballers from mainstream mediatook a shot at the socialite pundit's site, a compendium of the views, opinions and random remarks of 350 actors, pundits, writers and politicos, ranging from genuine celebrities (Gwyneth Paltrow, Larry David, Walter Cronkite) to the niche-famous (wonky speechwriters, people cranking out television scripts for "Alias," Jon Corzine). Bloggers complained about its cluenessness, lack of focus and self-aggrandizement. One writer called it "the box-office equivalent of Gigli, Ishtar and Heaven's Gate rolled into one." Someone even created an anti-Arianna blog, with the Web address huffington.isfullofcrap.com.
None of this seems to bother the senatorial spouse turned author turned entrepreneur. "Give us a few months to evaluate what it will become," she says cheerily. [emphasis added]

Did the writer make the mistake or did his editor introduce the mistake in editing? Editing is, of course, the highly praised gatekeeper function that the media likes to brag about when claiming superiority to Drudge, blogs, and the web. Either way, the editing didn't work right.
Hey, at least Zsa Zsa Huffington's Post didn't give fanatics the excuse dujour to get people killed. Then again, no one will die because of the noted trivial, but sloppy, mistake by Newsweek.
;-)
I'm still waiting for the article on how she turned her husband gay.
It's a copy of Drudge with a left-wing slant. That's pretty much all you need to know. Joe Scarborough is on there, but he's boring--I know people here like him, but that doesn't mean he's not dull.
The news section of the site is boring, and the only blogger that has broken out is Jim Lampley for his hysterical moonbat theories.
This:
http://huffingtonstoast.com/
is the only site you really need to go to.
(And yes, for the slower Freepers, this *is* a satirical site.)
She was just a beard very well compensated for her service.
Senatorial spouse??? I think her ex was only in the house, he was defeated for the Senate.
This is another example of the MSM getting it wrong, oh it's Nerwsweak, nevermend( pathetic snickers, LOL)
DUFU PING
I love that site!
I have been reading HogOnIce.com for months now. (He created huffingtonstoast).
Thanks for the moonbat tip, will check out this Lamprey--err, Lampley. BTW, a local Boston talk host has started using "moonbat" and is crediting FreeRepublic with bringing the term to his attention.
It's nothing but immature 6th grade level whining. It's like reading valley girl talk without all the "fer sure" and "oh my god!"
Huffington had some forum site a few years back, during our early days of invasion of Afghanistan.
Of course, she was against it.
I invited her to travel there herself, where her privates would be sewn up like a pot roast to satify Taliban males' trust in women.
She didn't "turn" him gay. She was the beard.
I've seen her husband naked.
Huh?
Didn't get that one.
a "beard" is a woman that
pretends to be a gay guy's lover.

You got that right. But she also served as a touchstone for identifying opportunists within conservative ranks. You had to want to be fooled to buy her act.
And you call yourself Mr. Lucky?
When your husband leaves you for another MAN, hummmmmm. No wonder she's a B***h, then maybe that's what drove him to the same sex. (sarc)
Lucky for me, he wasn't queer in high school.
Arianna and Te-RE-za ought to get together to pop white raisins and commiserate with their accented condescension.
Didn't the case of vasoline and collection of show tunes in his school locker make you suspicious though?
