NASHVILLE, Tennessee (AP) -- A black doctor has offered $50,000 to a Southern heritage group to buy the naming rights to a Vanderbilt University dormitory at the center of a legal fight over whether it should be called Confederate Memorial Hall.

I hope that the UDC doesn't accept the offer!!! It is the North and their idiots like Dr. Hamilton who are still fighting the war. This guy probably believes that the Emancipation Proclamation and the War ended slavery in Delaware and Maryland... Political correctness has such a damn grip on people that it's hard to fathom.

Ingrates...he wouldn't be a black American doctor if not for the slave trade. How do you know that ? Have you invented time travel and gone back in time, abolished slavery and saw what happened and changed it back ? Have you traveled to parallel earth's where slavery never was and saw that this guy would not be an American doctor ?
