Chinese Man Digs Up, Eats Corpse

China has reportedly sentenced a man to two-and-a-half years in prison, for digging up a woman's corpse and eating parts of her body.

The official Xinhua News Agency says the man dug up the woman's remains the same day she had been buried.

The news agency says a court ruled the man should be imprisoned instead of hospitalized for mental illness, because he was capable of controlling his actions.
