Topics on Tony's show today include:
Get Out the Cots, as the first vote of previously filibustered nominees is tested. Tony will have in-depth analysis of the situation.
Lucianne Goldberg will be on to talk about whether Howie Dean and Warren Beaty have taken leave of their senses. (That happened some time ago, but should be fun to listen to.)
Soldier Ride Kickoff report will be brought to us by Tony Snow.
The commentary about the deal should be good.

Woman caller says the Senate is turning into the UN of the Potomac.
I missed it .. what did he say?
Tony: GWB should have been on the phone with these folks. He should have been pushing these guys.
I was able to tune in for a moment and heard what Dingy Harry said after the "deal" was announced. He basically leveled a threat at the President, Cheney and right-wing America.
OK I'm off again.
Tagline material!
Tony: McCain is falling. His political career (re: presidential) is OVER!
We traded 3 for 9 judges and still have the filibuster to deal with sooner or later.
Yes.... I heard that one,,,, she is right.
he's right
Good Grief .. Arlen Specter proved to be more of a Republican then McCain and his gang
Not even Arlen signed onto this stunt
I think that McCain is still so bitter that he was not the presidential nominee that he is doing everything he can to derail President Bush. I think McCain has a few screws loose. He's only in the game for himself now.
up to 9 now huh??
McCain and his gang royally screwed us over
Yes, to everything that you said.
Tony: Everybody now has to get a new game plan. The Repubs are not weakened, but McCain is. The Repubs are not happy with McCain.
I'm not sure where the 9 figure comes from but Tony and Hatch seemed to agree that 9 will not be voted on.
This is going to be a wake-up call for all Repubs that if they don't take a stand and do what their voters want them to do, then they will suffer at the polls. This actually may make the party stronger.
they are still in committee
I read last night in a post there was talk they would also be blocked in committee
I think Barbie Boxer was even bragging about a couple of them last night on the senate floor
You know, this whole process reveals alot about a person's character. I guess I'd much rather see how a person will react in the heat of battle on the Senate floor then in the Oval Office of the White House. People like McCain, Warner, Kerry, etc. would back down in the face of conflict. We don't need someone like that in the White House. I think that we need to remember those BRAVE men and women in the Senate who stood their ground and make sure that they are re-elected.
I think what has happened is that we get 3 judges through and that's it. The Dems still keep the ability to filibuster whenever they think it's necessary, which is what they wanted all along. McCain's was had yesterday along with 6 of his buddies. Watch him parade around on all the talking head shows now while the MSM praise him as being sooooooo moderate and even "presidential".
