Here are the words being used today by liberals regarding the "senate compromise" on judicial nominations:

Re: Republicans: "criminal, horrible, destructive, hypocrites, vicious, single-minded, Hitlerian, mafioso, wacky fundamentalists, saber-rattlers, Neanderthals, reactionary idiots, unprincipled, fascists, fascist bitches and bastards, bullies, fanatic corporatists (?), slimy, wormy, smarmy, election-stealing pile of trash Repukes*, power grabbers, spineless asshole Rethugs, fasict repuke bullies, Germany all over again, radicals"

Re: Democrats: "impotent, capitulatory, spineless, sellouts, sodomized, selfish, unheroic, new Whigs, hapless, asshats (?), wimps, pathetic, disgusting, screwed, bent over for evil, lambasted, betrayed the people"

There hasn’t been joy over there since the day that handicapped lady finally starved to death for their enjoyment.

Such good times don’t come often.

Judge Bork was just on FNC stating that the Repubs abandoned 5 nominees in order to keep 3. To say that he was very unimpressed with the compromise would be an understatement.

Then they don't understand that their guys in the Senate took a pile of crap and turned it into a pretty nice looking potted plant. They are upset their guys didn't accomplish a miracle and reject every Bush nomination. That was never in the cards so they are whining that their guys didn't achieve the impossible. I expect DU'ers to do things like trying to repeal the second law of thermodynamics because it is unfair and rascist. So I don't really give much credence to their whining--they are unhinged from reality.

All in all, it was a pretty good days work for the left.

I agree with your assessment.

God is not mocked.

There will be a big price to pay for the direction the socialists/leftists/liberals have dragged our country.

Let's keep up the good fight to restore American values. It is possible.

The Capitol is our building. It belongs to the people. We need to send eviction notices to all those self-serving crooks in both parties. We need to clean the place out.

So nobody is happy with the "compromise". The underlying good news is that maybe it won't be tried again.
