Again, this is the divide and conquer strategy of the Republicans that people like you fall for.

Spare me the condescension -- you're the one trying to divide Republicans ("people like you"? You don't even know me). So you hate Bush, fine. Go join some feckless third- or fourth-party so you can feel ideologically pure, politically smug, and utterly impotent. Instead of whining about how stupid everyone else is, how about proposing solutions?

I'm still waiting for some satellite broadcast to carry Rush.

I expect you'll have a long wait. Rush has too many affiliates (and the private side of his web site) to broadcast via satellite.

Whao, you call me names and then say I am condescending. Hmmm. I think the big problem is people cannot really handle the truth. Once you have accepted the truth, then you will see the path yourself. However, at that point others will call you condescending, utterly impotent, etc.

They all deserve consequences for the political adultery.

I guess we will have to disagree on this. I don't think Snowe, Collins and Chafee "deserve" anything near what the 4 red state Senators "deserve." And there are so many more options with the latter.

At this point I think Frist is correct. Ignore the agreement and bring up the judges over and over again until they get up or down votes.

On this we completely agree.

"Whao" indeed. I wish you well in your path of "martyr to the one true way".

Rush is not going to satellite because of his agreements with the radio stations he's on now. - I expect you'll have a long wait. Rush has too many affiliates (and the private side of his web site) to broadcast via satellite.

If there's loot to be made, the satellite doods will be all over it. Sirius, XM, it doesn't matter. Time for the Maha to devour the planet. THAT would boost sales. Let the bidding begin...

If it is true, it can only be one. I could be wrong, but everytime I think I am wrong I am proven right. Before you dismiss anything, and it doesn't have to be in politics, ask yourself this question: "What if it is right?" Would the world look any different if it is right? If you have deduced correctly, then you can judge for yourself whether or not to reject that hypothesis. So far every time I ask myself a question "Are Republicans conservative?," I am proved wrong.

Rats, I missed that. I was waiting to hear Graham, but had to go to my daughter's soccer game. I think I heard earlier on that show about some ppl already have asked Ravenel to run or to draft him to run. I supported him against DeMint, and I would work hard to get him elected. He seems to be a true conservative.

as pbs says:
In 1978, Souter became an associate justice of the New Hampshire Superior Court, the state's trial court of general jurisdiction, which made rounds from county to county. Newly elected New Hampshire governor John Sununu appointed Souter to the New Hampshire Supreme Court in 1983. Seven years later, as President George Bush's Chief of Staff, Sununu recommended Souter for a position on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Souter assumed that job in April 1990.

Just months later, Souter was nominated for a seat on the Supreme Court, winning Senate confirmation in October by a vote of 90 to 9. The press quickly dubbed Souter the "stealth justice," since his professional record provoked little, if any, controversy.

Now I have always heard that Sununu went "to bat" for Souter as he was "one of his guys" from New hampshire.

That's strange. What you are saying is that everyone knew about Souter, except for Bush.

That certainly proves that "going along to get along" is not sound strategery.

Reminds me of "read my lips", then raising taxes, not smart.

I actually voted for Perot in 92, the only problem was I got Clintoon, my apology to all, LOL.
