If you are guilty make sure you are tried in this DC. If you are a Republican and innocent, get as far away as possible.

"i suspect they linked this to Hillarys 2008 chances and didnt want to hurt her"
Yep, Hitlery and her ilk own the judiciary.

if anyone EVER ponders what difference judges make , well ,"HERE COME DE JUDGE"
To: minus_273
This was a tough case to sell to a jury. This was not an Enron-type fraud that hurt people. It would be hard for a jury to even understand the difference between hard and soft money, much less care if someone lied to the FEC about it.

Sometimes I wonder if this is still the United States
To: Cicero
I'm no lawyer, but it sounds as though all a perp has to do, well certain perps anyway, is claim ignorance of the law and all will be forgiven.
But this still makes me of how they eventually got Capone.

They couldn't even prosecute Ted Kennedy for Vehicular Manslaughter. Do you honestly think they'd throw Hillary's money man in jail?

OK, I need a lawyer to explain what this means One lawyer who blogs on white-collar criminal cases has been saying for a while that the prosecution had a weak case.
To: minus_273
Didn't the judge say this before the trial? There must be an alternative to our illegal justice system.
To: Cicero
It means that if you are rich and or got powerful friends you too can be a Senator from NY.

The Bush family strikes again...federal prosecutors refused to use a damning tape--to the shock of everyone including the judge. Without that they had little chance of convicting Rosen.

Seems the RATS are winning battles left and right!!! If this continues, criminals not held accountable for their crimes, our country is going to go down the tubes FAST! God help us! Have we lost our way?
To: minus_273
I hate this.
Every time I tell myself to quit being so negative and believe for just once, it turns out like this.
Much better to just be consistently cynical and right.
Not that a Clinton appointed judge could have had anything to do with the result.
To: minus_273
The whole thing was part of the Hillary Reclamation Project.
Another scandal squashed, so when she's asked about it later, as with all the scandals, she'll say "this is old news, the matter was adjudicated already."
It's exactly why she wrote the book, to innoculate herself. So, when she's aksed tough questions, she'll respond, "I dealt with that in my book."
To: RoseofTexas
That's why they want to maintain control of the judiciary.

This is exactly why the rats want to keep the GOP from appointing conservative judges. As far as another Clintonista getting away with a crime is par for the course. Damien's Untouchables..
