Freemarketeers/freetraders on the right, militant secularists on the left, both groups work in tandem chipping at the roots of Christian civilisation.

They create a vacuum, ready to be filled from outside.

I know there are times these three (free-marketeers, secular left, and Islamo-Fascism) groups might oppose each other but as you put it, they are working together to destroy Western civilization in a de facto way. I know myself, I've made the same points in the past that if I never knew about Christianity or I was drifting out there with no aim but still upset at the lost of commonsense, morality and loss of the life I knew, Islam would appeal to persons like me. I thank God (pun intended) that I do know of Him and try my best to live a clean life and trust in Him, but there are aimless people out there who need to know His word and not go towards radical Islam. Islam does have certain appeal to disaffected people with little or no influence, direction in life or just plain upset in general, think of what is going on here in our prisons.

As you eluded to, nature abhores a vacuum and when that happens, something will fill it.

I think what I was trying to say is that I find it difficult to equate true morals and moralism to the counterfeit 'morals' found in Islam. If the Islamists are driven by moral energy as the writer claims, I would still have to qualify it and say they are driven by a false belief and self-deception. Morals, as I understand it, consists of a set of personal standards or codes that the majority of the world population generally subscribes to.

If the Islamic idea of what morals are differs from the world standard, by definition they cannot be considered as morals. The energy they derive from their belief system would more accurately equate with the energy derived from drugs or psychosis, dilusions. IM(unprofessional)O.

Srdja Trifkovic (of Chronicles magazine) also recently wrote a book exposing islamism and how islam spread by conquest. Predictably, islamists and liberals have written screeds denouncing Trifkovic as a Serb. This is of course based on the racist assumption that "all Serbs are liars". In my experience, Serbs often tell the truth when others either dare not, or lie out of self-interest.

As an American Lutheran, I am especially frustrated and ashamed about how our denominational mis-leaders whitewash islam. When they tell the story of how islam spread, they omit the role of conquest and oppression, which is and always has been the predominant means of islamic "evangelism". To the shame of these mis-leaders, these whitewashes have appeared in much greater numbers after 9/11. In reality, we should be evangelizing populations that are targets of islam (e.g., African-American communities, prisoners, spiritually-empty college women), and muslims themselves. But that is not politically correct, and besides, the mis-leaders are too busy pushing the "gay" agenda and feminazi "liturgies" on us.

I know, and have even worked with, many moderate muslims, who are good people. We do them no favors by whitewashing islamic history, which favors the islamists who are oppressing them as well.

Moreover, islam, the so-called "third Abrahamic faith", is in reality a bowlderized and very deficient derivative of Christianity. No one was ever saved by the Quran or the hajj, since Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father!!! The very best thing we can do for good muslims is to enable them to come home to the Christian faith. Since that is difficult, the least we can do is stop making things so easy for the islamists to dominate islam, and perhaps the whole world.

But no one, including all Islamists, will prevent the United States of America from existing and trying to live up to its goals. We Americans will survive at the expense of Islam if need be.

Islam is a bastardized Judaism (apology to all the FR Jews) with a bit of Zoasterism and Christianity thrown in.

We are in a fight for our lives, but more importantly the souls of the next generation. Guess what, we are winning.

That's a plausible scenario. More likely, maybe not a nuke but another terrorist attack will piss enough people off in this country that punitive reprisals will be demanded. Furthermore, as Europeans continue being victimized and humiliated in their own countries by Muslim immigrants, right-wing parties in Europe will gain power. This is happening already.

Even so, if another major attack in the US occured, I think the libs would still blame America. After all, "Liberalism is a Mental Disorder" (Michael Savage).

Yes, but the Left's position is increasingly becoming marginalized. Just look at the last election. Sure, Newsweek makes a big deal about treatment of terrorists in Gitmo but the average man on the street could care less if korans are flushed down the toilet or prisoners are humiliated. Newsweek's message is appealing to an ever shrinking group of people!

People are too quick to dismiss this upcoming great battle between Islam and the West as already lost, too quick to dismiss the West as too soft and accommodating. They don't realize that the opinions of the press and a few elected officials are hardly representative of those of the people --here and in Europe! Our problem is we are civilized and want a civilized solution. Muslims are barbaric and can't be dealt with in a civilized manner. It will take some time for the West to come around and accept this unpleasant reality. Superior, civilized, modern Western culture cannot coexist on the same planet with barbaric, medieval Islamic psychosis. Things will come to a head and the West will muster up the strength to eradicate the world of Islamic fanaticism.
