Toaster winner think of what you want

I'm pleasantly shocked! I had no idea this honor would befall me today. I want to thank Jim Robinson for creating this forum, and rintense for creating this thread, Brad's Gramma for coming up with the Toaster Award, and you, for picking up the Banner of the Toaster Awards, to make this all possible. I also would like to thank Kathy and Peter for lending me a computer in 1997 to get me started on the Internet; Jeremy and Melissa, and Chris, people since then who have given me computers to keep this web effort going.

I'm stalling for time to figure out what kind of toaster I would like. ;-)

I would also like to thank my son, Mark, for giving me a computer. (I knew there was someone very important that I was leaving off that list!)

She's really cute with that pony tail hanging down to her shoulders there. Must be the general's daughter, to get away with that!

I had not noticed that before you pointed that out, what are the actual regulations regarding women's hair?

I am learning fast from what I can make out it is the same or very similar to our Remembrance Day in November.

We have Memorial Day on the last Monday in May to remember those who died serving our country, and Veterans' Day on November 11, to remember all veterans. The latter developed, I believe, as a result of the armistice ending WW 1 on 11/11 at 11 AM.

I recently visited Arlington National Cemetary, end of April. The guide at the cemetary stated they have burials there every day now it seems because of the war in Iraq. There is also a new exhibit with the dead in Iraq in memorial.

When we were there was a burial. It really is quite sobering.
