"If anyone has followed this guy's life it's pretty clear that in 5 years,he'll be moving on to something else.

Like a dirt nap if we're lucky.

They are for democratic socialism: a highly regulated economy and social caste system but absolute personal liberties so that the populace is too busy wigging out or copulating to notice that they have lost all of their other freedoms.

This is identical to the agenda of the Democratic Party leadership:

"A place for everybody, everybody in his/her place."

IMO, there is a coherent and consistent ideology on his part and it is very frightening.

I met some of the OSI guys when I was in Hungry, we (my class) stopped by Central European University (which he basically founded).

It was a weird group, but in essence, they know one thing clearly, he is nuts.

They talk well of him, but in private, they think he's pretty much lost it with his "messiah complex".

He is also not known for long term thinking, and moves from one cause to another.

The OSI guys (the ones I met) over there, were actually big supporters of Free Market principles and believed that a big government (or activist government or strong centralized government) was an enemy to the beliefs of an "open society".

Bizarre guy, and no one takes his "philosophy" junk seriously, even Paul Krugman, who is nice to him, and usually says positive things about, has also hinted that Soros isn't exactly trustworthy in some writings noting him. Interestling, he held a debate with him once.....and lost.

Let's hope they start throwing something a bit more powerful than rotten eggs at that evildoer.

I met some of the OSI guys ...

Whoa...hope you didn't tell them anything important. I wouldn't trust them. Much like the demonRATs, they are probably trained to smile and lie through their teeth.

Some time ago I found an article where he said he would own the USA. Wish I had saved it. I think that was the strategery of his "investment" into the '04 election. Had "it" won, Soros would have owned him.

Soros was on the right side in Georgia, but this couldn't have happened to a more deserving guy.

Too bad it doesn't happen here in the U.S., for the right reasons.

They started out pretty pro soros but after awhile, they (sheepishly) admit that he is a bit of a kook, who has a nasty habit of getting more involved with things which he doesn't understand.

His ego and messiah complex needs to be brought under control.

Its pretty clear a couple of them think he really is mentally ill.

Interestingly enough, his family (based on what he told them) has a history of mental illness.

His drawing of comparissons between himself and others (Karl Popper, Neitzche, etc) suggest some serious disconnects with reality.

He really has some weird ideas, of both himself, the world, and various other things, that are definatly signs that the guy ain't right and is getting worse.
