Ohio Sen. George Voinovich's stand against the nomination of John Bolton as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations has taken an emotional toll. As he took his courageous stand in the well of the Senate, the thought of leaving the fate of his children and grandchildren -- and yours -- in the hands of such a mean man nearly overcame him.
Sen. George Voinovich CARES.
He cares so much it HURTS.
Sometimes it hurts so much, he CRIES.
As his constituents, we feel duty-bound to repay our senator's loyalty to us -- his care for us -- his LOVE for us. And, yes, for the "world community."
But we can't do it alone, nor should we. You owe Sen. George no less a debt of gratitude than we do. Fortunately, there IS a way to repay him. It's practical. It's responsible. And it shows how much you CARE.
You can help Sen. George wipe away his tears for little more than the cost of a postage stamp. Simply enclose an facial tissue in an envelope and send it to the senator. (Please, clean, unused tissues only.) It will take a lot of tissues to get this job done, but if each person who CARES will contribute just one, well, Sen. George will weep for joy.

A better way to spare him this agony would be to make sure he isn't re-elected. That way, he won't have to feel responsible for the fate of his grandchildren. What an embarrassment!

I feel the need to apologize to the nation for sending Geo. Voinivich to the senate.
He didn't attend the senate foreign relations meetings until the very end. He didn't interview John Bolton at those meetings. And he's using all the talking points given to him by Barbara Boxer, Joe Biden and Ted Kennedy, thinking they're genuine. (Well, I guess he is from Cleveland). So, he dissent isn't truly authentic.
He's only crying crocodile tears.
Sorry. I jsut used the last tissue in the box......say, I've got this big roll of different tissue mounted on the wall right next to my "reading chair"! How 'bout I mail him a couple of those? I won't get any "tears" on them at all.......

It's like my father used to say when his lecture explaining the foolishness of something I had done brought me to tears. "Don't cry," he would say, "or I'll give you something to cry about." I think it's time to give the gentleman from Ohio something to cry about ... at the ballot box.

The issue is not about HIM but about ALL of American children's futures. Voinovich doesn't represent his constituent citizens sentiments and opinions.
Clearly, Voinovich is AFRAID - not Bold, not Brave.
Bolton is not going to bring about the end of the world!
Tho' ineffective and unresponsive congressmen just might do it, or at least bring down America.

If Bolton fails (because he is such a tough guy), maybe we should nominate the Voinovwish. (The upshot of which would be that Governor Robert Taft 3 and a Third would be anble to name his replacement.)
Maybe he is crying because he knows that he will never be elected again and the gravy train will be ending soon....
