And, say, aren't you the one who always whines about "small groups" pinging others. And here you go pinging one yourself. Of course, "your" group is realitively small, considering that most women on FR aren't intimidated by pictures in a magazine, as you are.
Humble? I think that would be about the last word I would use to describe her. In fact, I think she's pretty obnoxious and arrogant.
At the 500 banquet, she was presented with the Rookie of the Year trophy. Her response? "This looks a lot like the trophy for the fastest rookie."

Some "women" just get off trashing other women. If you watch, they do it to just about every woman there is a discussion about: rape victim, Laura Bush.
Beats the heck out of me why they are so threatened by somebody they don't know. Of course, they never post THEIR picture so we can have a good old FR discussion about them.

I loaded up Danica's website to show my husband her racing highlights. When he saw this
Finished second at the Formula Ford Festival in England, the highest ever finish for an American in the event.
He said that this event is cut throat racing and that if she came in second that she can drive!
My husband used to drive SCCA.
Danica has been racing since she was 10. That makes 13 years. She is good at it. Some people just want to belittle her accomplishments.
Maybe if she was butt ugly.......naw.......they'd still find something to whine about -- her being a woman and all.
If memory serves me she is the only woman (in a non drag racing venue) that has secured a seat in first class equipment. I hope she has a long and successful career.
