This guy is nuts. Mark Steyn said once that Dean was a sane man trying to act crazy, while Clark was a crazy man trying to act sane. However, I think this exchange shows that Dean is nuts, too.

Wonderful parody... And you do know that I enjoy parody, Tim...

I know I will get flamed for this, but the "I hate republicans and everything they stand for" quote IS out of context. He went on to say something about how Democrats should try to emulate their tactics. The "I hate Republicans" thing was just a prelude to his main point.

Let me put it this way. I hate Howard Dean and everything he stands for, but he is right when he says he was quoted out of context.

And this is not to imply that all of his obnoxious quotes are out of context.

Mr. Mean Dean can say whatever he wants to say. The MSM have his back.

Of course he was taken out of context. He's not insane, just crazy.

You make a good point. I'm sure his "Tom Delay should be in prison" remarks were NOT taken out of context.

Take a look at those Hitler remarks he made up there. "Hitler was bad...but he DID put people to work. I disapprove of unemployment."

What a psycho! Hey, Dean, I don't know about you, but I disapprove of tyranny, totalitarianism, mass genocide, and oppression. But since you were against going into Iraq (to get "Osama bin Laden"-LOL), I guess you DON'T disapprove of those things. You just disapprove of people trying to be free of government aide and depend on themselves instead of your socialist commie government programs.

This isn't very good parody because it's too believable. I could easily envision him saying any of those things.

How is it out of context? Because it was a prelude to something else he said? Absolutisms are seldom out of context, and Dean MEANT exactly what he said--and nothing he said afterward qualified that meaning.

If Dr. Dean's language and expressed thoughts are any guide to the inner man, he appears to be about perfect for the job of leading the looney left.

"I hate republicans and everything they stand for"

is NOT out of context, because the context would not change his statement of hatred for Republicans. out of context is more like taking ...
"Howard Dean is a homosexual rights advocate's dream candidate"
into
"Howard Dean is a homosexual"

Dean's 'hate' comment was a telling comment to make - he runs on emotion.
Frankly, I *dont* go around hating Democrats or saying that. I'm more about what I believe ... and consider Democrats a dangerous threat to the things I hold dear because of what they do and believe.
