And instead of bringing up your other information on Larry King, you would have gone on a real news show where the interviewer would challenge your "other information". (hint, rumor spread via liberal cocktail parties no longer qualifies as "other information" - those days are over)

I think that is really it. This is stark raving lunacy to continue to maintain those documents were from a 70s ANG unit. Not only the font, but the style were obviously "Photoshopped". Throw in the way CBS obtained them and lack of any corroboration, and it's even more amateurish than the "dog ate my homework". I'm beginning to believe that this man no longer has anything upstairs.
The only other explanation that remotely makes sense is that he has a burning, blinding hatred of Bush and Republicans.
It is no surprise that Rather doesn't have the common decency to fade away quietly. You would think that somebody who left their job in disgrace would at least have the class to keep a low profile for a few years. Like Nixon, for example. Nixon had more class in his little toe than Rather ever had in his entire stinking life.
