But Costa Rica does not have elk. :-) True. But oddly enough, they do have a population of Red Deer (Stag) - imported of course. Close enough.

Seen it before. Husband sober and driving, wife drunker than snot. Husband drives erratically while trying to control his wife and gets pulled over. Wife takes it from there. What a way to make a living.

Well, the woman's name is Alexandra. Maybe she goes by "Sandy" for short?

LOL! Thank you for lightening this thing up. I was getting in a real sour mood for awhile there.

I believe! The police have hired some people that do not need to be police.

Hope they taste as good as elk. Of course, a red wine marinade usually takes care of that. The one exception was some Canadian venison I had a few years back. [I should have marinaded myself before eating. lol]

Either that, or the bride had formerly dated one of their own or a close friend of one of their own and dumped him.
Just a little message that maybe she didn't marry the right one. That has happened here (more than once)

The police departments throughout the US really need to look at their PR image. If this is true it is things like this that make citizens indifferent to crimes against police officers.
My wife¡s cousin is a captain in the Panamanian police. He was complaining about the lack of respect the people had for the police department. I asked him if he knew what the difference was between the criminals and the police. He shook his head and I told him the criminals don't wear uniforms. He hasn't been back to my house since. The problem of bad cops isn't a US issue as you well know.

My bet is the cops were focusing on the groom as a potential "drunk" driver. Lots of money in that. Yea buts it not like the cops get a commission or some kind of cut of the fines or anything.
I've dealt with some good and bad cops, I also have alot of friends who are cops.
This story could not sound more fabricated if there was a martian and a flying saucer involved.
I think its more likely, they got stopped, she was angry and picked a fight with the cops and they had to subdue her.
Some people get very belligerent and insulted when they get pulled over.

I don't believe for a second that this woman was complying 100% with the police and they just decided to beat her up for no reason (not that the police should ever use unnecessary force to restrain anybody).I once wound up wearing boot-shaped bruises in the middle of my back (administered while handcuffed) for asking to be transported in the back of a police cruiser at somewhere near the speed limit without the emergency equipment operating - in the same municipality.

Yeah, I got stopped the other day and the the cop said this very thing. I responded,..."Well, I'm running a program also I refer to as...ticket & stick-it, write-it & bite-it, etc."
The cop just laughed and gave me a ticket anyway.

Maybe they've had enough of "Click it or Ticket". Maybe they're future freedom fighters. Who knows?Whatever they are, they obviously aren't bright.
If they are sick of the "click it or ticket", vote or do something.
A cop pulling you over isn't the same thing as marshal law.
The guy wasn't drunk, they should have had no problem, I think she started a fight with them, and got what she deserved for it.

The couple were probably white and apparently Jewish. They could also be Mormon.

I don't believe it, it sounds way to over the top. Its almost something straight out of a cartoon.
I think Popeye and Olive Oyl went through this once.

I don't believe that Mormons get married at libraries. It's either churches or their temples I think.
