and a B-29 holy cow.....
The old AFB at Merced has a great display, they even have a B-36. Unfortunatly none of it is in the best of shape.

I think you mean Castle AFB ...
I was there last week for a visit. Great outdoor museum of aircraft.
This weekend, I was at Paso Robles and Estrella's Warbird Museum has really expanded there also. They just got an F14 - which apparently flew in... sorry I missed that!

BTW, the main Imperial War Museum is well worth a visit and the IWM has also opened Churchill's secret WWII bunker and offices in central London.
