Judge Rogers Brown and I have been soul sisters since 1970. She will neveer know me, but I am with her all the way.
They're just trying to find a lousier bastard than the owner of the Baltimore Orioles. Soros just might fit.
Tomorrow morning on c-pan, the Foreign Relations Committee is having a hearing on the US Ambassador to Iraq's nomination---
I wonder if ole Kerry will be there tomorrow? I wonder if he will try to get the nominee if HE thinks the war in Iraq was an immoral, illegal war....
I wonder if this meeting is when he will whip out the MEMO that he intends to impeach Pres. Bush over...
Well, I'd say Senator Sessions did a good job today. He'd be a great nominee for the Supreme Court.
I will be sure to look for that! I can't stand John Kerry, but I guess that pretty much goes with out saying!
It would be just too much sweet justice for Sen. Sessions to get to the SCOTUS, since he had been turned down for a federal judgeship by these same idiot dems...
I wonder if they would have the nerve to do it again?
You have got to turn on MSNBC now---Hardball has on the Compromise committee members on --All of them---
Lieberman talking now!!!!
HARDBALL ON MSNBC --RIGHT NOW---Chrissy has on the Compromise committee of senators!!!!
Okay you guys---I thought that I had seen Chrissy pull every trick in the book, but he has topped himself---
He has on all of these Gang of 14---and he is having each one talk about how all of their constituents are telling them how much they appreciate what they have done...and that only "those groups" (said derisively) have come down hard on them...
Ole liar Senator Salazar from Colorado, who campaigned, promising to give up/down votes on judicial nominees, just said that he came to Washington to be a "uniter, not a divider", but when he got to Washington, he "found out how much POISON is hanging over the White House and the Senate" and how he thinks THIS GROUP has helped to stand up to the poisonmakers, (IOW, Bush)...
This is totally sickening, pandering on Chrissy's part, letting these idiots boast about how THEIR GROUP saved the Senate....
Damn, Byrd in on the PHONE!
Great thread. Thanks for posting this info.
(I know I'm late to the party today, but this judge stuff is the main reason I voted for Dubya.)
Thanks for the heads-up.
These people make me want to throw up. All of them.
Scumbags.
I agree, except his nomination to District Court was already killed by the Senate (thanks in large part to Senator ex-Specter-ate.. So unless we can unload a few more scumbag Senators and get some humans in there, he won't ever get the opportunity.
I am forcing myself to finish watching this Hardball, but I am finding myself getting more and more angry at these senators for patting themselves on the back like this...
They are determined to show up Frist---even though they say they aren't going to be able to solve "all of the problems, we hope that we can be the model of goodwill, and partisanship, working together for the good of the country"
OMG---They think they have CREATED goodwill, but I gotta say, that if I were one of the other senators, there would be NO goodwill coming from me, after seeing this little performance!!!
I watched these scumbags for three minutes and couldn't take any more.
Well, I am going to have to go to bed now--they have made me sick!!!!
LOL
That Rat! Is he kidding me or himself? The 'deal' was DOA as far as I am concerned. The RAT PACK either has incompetant staff memebers or they themselves are highly delusional!
Patrick Henry's full "Give me Liberty or Give me Death" speech would be outlawed by the ACLU as a exercise of religion in the public schools.
I am between classes for a few minutes. When is or has the Brown vote happened? Any quick summary for the day? Thanks.
