Senator Hillary Clinton castigated President Bush and Washington Republicans today as mad with power and bent on marginalizing Democrats during a speech to 1,000 supporters at her first major re-election fund-raiser, which netted about $250,000.
Mrs. Clinton, who is running for a second term in 2006 and is widely described as a possible Democratic nominee for the presidency in 2008, said that her party is hamstrung because Republicans dissemble and smear without shame and the news media has lost its investigatory zeal for exposing misdeeds.

The Democrats have done a pretty good job doing that themselves.
I was unaware that she'd formally announced.
And NObody knows "BENT" like the former 'first handler' of the not so great 'bent one'
POT CALLING THE KETTLE BLACK
Why bother? The dems do an incredibly good job of this all by themselves.

Marginalizing Democrats?? I think they do this themselves with their anti-American, socialist platform.
I doubt she did much "handling" after they had their pre-requisite child...or before for that matter.
From the author-ess of politics of personal distruction.. pot kettle...kettle..clintoon.
and yet the MSM will not cover this speech for one second.
This insanity should be put side by side to show hitlary is further left than even dean.
her own words condemn her.
"[Hillary] decried his fiscal policies, particularly Republican-backed tax cuts, saying they were ballooning the deficit and ceding "fiscal sovereignty" to countries like China, which are harder to influence when they become "your banker.""
We need to be listening to this woman's every word, because it is a preview of what we will be facing in 2008.
She's obviously planning to borrow a page from Pat Buchanan. We're going to be hearing about the threat to "border sovereignty" from Mexico and the threat to "fiscal sovereignty" from China.
And, with that populist platform, she's going to be targeting a lot of disenchanted, grass roots conservatives.
The question is whether our party is going to allow Hillary to take our right flank.
Accusations from the left are merely confessions.
WHAT IS IT with these people? They lie like hell, they do every dirty deed imaginable, yes, EVERY, and they try to make us believe they were as pure as the undriven snow? It could be laughable but I ain't laughin'.
Good point!
No her party is hamstrug because they have lost the House, the Senate and the White House.
And if they're stupid, they'll believe her.
I hope her "speech" was recorded. If it was as shrill as her "I AM SICK AND TIRED..." speech (if you haven't heard it, think: fingernails on the chalkboard) it will be good campaign fodder.
"Senator Hillary Clinton castigated President Bush"
...while her husband sings his praises on Larry King Live last week. Guess this means she won't be joining her husband at Walker's Point at Kennebunkport at the invitation of the Bushes. LOL
Hillary's Fatwa
Declares Jihad against American conservatives
Diarrhea of the mouth gushing forth from the wicked witch of the north needs wiping with pages from the Koran.
Hmmm. The expression "Hillary's Fatwa" sounds like it may have something to do with the reason she wears black pants suits.. :0)
IMO, 99.9 % of the time.
The other 1% she's probably sleeping and having nightmares.

Republicans go up 3 points in polls when people hear that...
Republicans go up 3 points in polls when people hear that...
Problem is, will people hear it...
I doubt they even accomplished that. When the Sinkmaster raped Juanita Broaderick, he told her he was sterile thanks to a case of the mumps as a kid. Chelsea looks nothing like him, but does have a passing resemblance to Web Hubbell. Chelsea was born for one reason: a political prop for Bubba and the Witch to trot out when the occasion demanded it.
Kind of goes with the adversarial party system of politics doesn't it?
Republicans have the power and seek to use it? Gee, how unusual! For crying out loud, this is POLITICS. Of course both parties seek the greatest advantage. What does she think the Republicans should do, roll over and give the Dems everything they want?
Does HRC think the Dems should be weak and try to work with Republicans? Of course not. This is a game of hardball.
Quote: ". . .her party is hamstrung because . . . the news media has lost its investigatory zeal for exposing misdeeds."
Read, "c'mon MSM we need another Watergate. You have celebrated the greatness of Watergate all week, now stop living in the past and get us a new Watergate. We dems rely on you to carry our water for us and you in the MSM are letting us down."
Memo to Mrs. Clinton and the rest of the gang, the party is over. The MSM monopoly is over and the New Media is here watching every move the MSM makes. The "fake but accurate" shyt might have flown 10 years ago, but no longer.
It do be the clintons who be hamstranglin' them thar demonrats.........and doin' a mighty purdy job of it, iffin I do say so myself.
It's nothing new that the Clinton's and Dems in general hate the VOTERS of America!~}
Hillary voted for the ag bill just a few months ago that would make all illegals that work for a year permanent residents.
Anytime Hillary brings up illegal immigration all the gop has to do is bring up her vote on the ag bill.
Hillary also railed against the real id act saying not to punish illegal aliens.
Hillary Clinton is for open borders just look at her voting record.
Remember when the White House press corps reacted with outright outrage when Scott McClellan merely suggested that Newsweek had a duty to repair some of the damage done by their unfounded accusation of the flushed Koran? They got all huffy because they saw it as the WH "telling" a magazine what to report on. Well, here's Senator Clinton doing exactly what they falsely accused the WH of doing, and what's the reaction? Why, they're gushing over her, of course. Two-faced bastards.
In a way the bitch is right, we have too much of a balance of payment with the Chinese, and they hold too much of our paper and could sink the finances of the US by dumping our bonds.
"Pot calling the kettle.................."
Sorry Hillary, but America's first female President will not be an obese sow. Nobody wants to look at that for (4) years.
Condi would win easily - she's smart and hot.

This woman is truly amazing....and what's worse....I think she actually believes her own stuff.
Pathetic. I can't believe people take her seriously as a potential presidential candidate.
Think about it....who else to the D's have?
Contrast this non-stop republican bashing with a GOP fundrasing event where they talk about things they are for with a little jab or two at the opposition.
And then to cry out to the media to work on thier behalf? That is a major sign of weakness. As if the media is favoring the republicans is laughable.
It sounded like Micheal Moore and Howard Dean paired up to write her speech.
I have to say again..Pathetic.
"I mean, c'mon, toughen up, guys, it's only our Constitution and country at stake," she said. "Let's get some spine."
Interesting strategy here: insult the media in hopes that they'll be more helpful. Why didn't the Republicans think of this?
Maybe cause we're too busy trying to dispel their lies, fake documents, false sources, etc.?
Senator Clinton Assails G.O.P. at Fund-Raiser

SHE'S BACK!!!
Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton castigated President Bush and Congressional Republicans yesterday as being mad with power and self-righteousness, complained that the news media have been timid in taking on the administration, and suggested that some Washington Republicans have a God complex. [Be nice to get that sound bite ~ oxen]
[snip]
"There has never been an administration, I don't believe in our history, more intent upon consolidating and abusing power to further their own agenda," Mrs. Clinton told the gathering.
"I know it's frustrating for many of you, it's frustrating for me. Why can't the Democrats do more to stop them?" she continued to growing applause. "I can tell you this: It's very hard to stop people who have no shame about what they're doing. It is very hard to tell people that they are making decisions that will undermine our checks and balances and constitutional system of government who don't care. It is very hard to stop people who have never been acquainted with the truth." [It's just hard NOT to laugh at that!! Sounds like she's talking from experience.....]
[snip]
"We can't ever, ever give in to the Republican agenda," she said. "It isn't good for New York and it isn't good for America." [So much for bipartisanship......]
[snip]
She also took a shot at the House of Representatives, calling it "a dictatorship of the Republican leadership."
Referring to the Congressional leadership, she said, "Some honestly believe they are motivated by the truth, they are motivated by a higher calling, they are motivated by, I guess, a direct line to the heavens."
[snip]
"It's shocking when you see how easily they fold in the media today," Mrs. Clinton said, again to strong applause. "They don't stand their ground. If they're criticized by the White House, they just fall apart."
"I mean, c'mon, toughen up, guys, it's only our Constitution and country at stake."
[snip]
"Maybe Hillary Clinton should focus a little more on being the junior senator for New York, and a little less on running for president," said Stephen J. Minarik III, chairman of the state Republican Party.
Run, Hillie, run....
Bwah hah hah hah hah...
