SEN. PAT 'HATED' HILLARY
NY POST ^ | June 7, 2005 | IAN BISHOP

....Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan and his wife despised a "duplicitous" and ruthless Hillary Rodham Clinton, who they believed would do anything to advance herself, according to a bombshell new book.

"The Truth About Hillary: What She Knew, When She Knew It, and How Far She'll Go to Be come President," by Edward Klein, is excerpted in Vanity Fair and slated to roll off the presses later this month.

Sen. Moynihan's wife, Liz, griped to a friend that a "duplicitous" Clinton "would say or do anything that would forward her ambitions"........."She can look you straight in the eye and lie . . . 'Lying' isn't a sufficient word; it's a distortion of the truth to fit her case."

Klein writes that Liz Moynihan (said)......"She believes that God approves of her and that, therefore, she can't do anything wrong."

Clinton's camp slammed the book, published by Sentinel, a conservative arm of Penguin books.

"Sen. Clinton will always be proud to have had the support of Sen. Moynihan, and wishes she still had his wisdom and counsel" .........."Beyond that, we don't comment on works of fiction, let alone a book full of blatant fabrications."

Clinton yesterday called Sen. Moynihan her "wonderful predecessor," adding, "I can just hear him saying what needs to be said about the president and the Republican leadership.

"There's never been an administration . . . in our history more intent upon consolidating and abusing power to further their own agenda," Clinton said.

In 1999, Clinton sought Moynihan's blessing to run for his seat and announced her "listening tour" at the then-senator's upstate farm ........

It is no secret Moynihan and Clinton had a forced relationship, but Klein contends that Moynihan could barely stomach her.

That's politics........corrupt as it is. Democrats back Democrats. Besides she was First Lady and had a lot of power. Moynihan couldn't go against that.

""There's never been an administration . . . in our history more intent upon consolidating and abusing power to further their own agenda," Clinton said."

""There has never been an administration, I don't believe in our history, more intent upon consolidating and abusing power to further their own agenda," Mrs. Clinton told the audience at a "Women for Hillary" gathering in Midtown Manhattan this morning.

"I know it's frustrating for many of you; it's frustrating for me: Why can't the Democrats do more to stop them?" she continued to growing applause and cheers. "I can tell you this: It's very hard to stop people who have no shame about what they're doing. It is very hard to tell people that they are making decisions that will undermine our checks and balances and constitutional system of government who don't care. It is very hard to stop people who have never been acquainted with the truth.""

The truth is that Hilly wouldn't know the truth if it came up and bit her in her rather large backside. Amen.

Yes he could if he had an ounce of decency left in his body.

Moynihan couldn't go against that.

Why not? He was supposed to be their "maverick", Mr "above-politics", and he was at the end of his career.

There was a time around impeachment where one Democratic voice would have tipped things against Clinton. Sadly, Mony only talked a good game, his votes are another matter...

"I can tell you this: It's very hard to stop people who have no shame about what they're doing..."

This statement is very true in a basic generic sense. However, it could also be applied to the Clintons behavior during the impeachment proceedings. Fruedian Projectionism here. Blaming the VRWC for possesing her worst traits. This is how they will attempt to make the non palatable into the palatable.

"It is very hard to tell people that they are making decisions that will undermine our checks and balances and constitutional system of government who don't care.

Once again, the basic statement in a general sense is true, but it could also be directly applied to the acquiring of FBI files carried out by Hillary's own White House Office Staff.

"It is very hard to stop people who have never been acquainted with the truth."

Once again Hillary is dealing with one of her greatest weaknesses, in this case the image of her standing behind her man whilst he pointed his finger at us and stated that he did not have sex with that women. In this case Hillary blames her opposition for possesing one of her worse traits.

Ok, So he disliked her immensely.

What did she have on him ergo the famous FBI files that led him to capitulate to her.

If so, how different is her behavior then the arm twisting I see on the "Soprano's"?

George Will was friends with Sen Moynihan for years. When Hillary started flying on free on C-20 government executive jets (like this one)...

...

out of Andrews AFB to campaign during her "Listening Tour", George Will stated then that Moynihan was a person of integrity and honor. Will diplomatically slammed Hillary on his show, but could not bring himself to tell the world what Moynihan really thought of Hillary.

Daniel Patrick Moynihan was one of the most extreme libs in COngress. I believe he introduced a bill to register individual bullets.

He was a pompous, arrogant individual infatuated with his own ego and self-significance.

More projection from the witch. Even statements like these shows she doesnt have an original thought in her head. She knows what her (and the rapists) administration was all about and she projects the negatives of it onto the Bush administration. I pray that America wakes up before 2008 because the MSM will carry her on their shoulders into the White House if they dont.

Just out of curiosity, were all the Clintons' books published by a liberal imprint, or were the Toons' books considered mainstream

So much for the thoughtful and intellectual Moynihan. He didn't have the guts - even going into retirement - to stand up and do the right thing. Sort of like the current "Conscience of the Senate", the ever-shrinking Joseph Lieberman. All talk, no action. Phony as a $3 bill.

Does starbucks give you a saucer with their $5.00 cup of latte? Pour it in the saucer and BLOW on it? Sounds like a game that lewinsky and bj used to play.
