The prisons in the USA have been racially segregated for decades, and ruled by gangs. A lot what you see playing out on the streets of L.A. and other cities are continuations of the gang warfare that is continual in prison.
Nobody wants to talk about this much. The percentage of gangbangers who have been in prison is near 100%.
One of the most notorious racial hate crimes in recent history, the famous 'dragging death' in Texas had prison rape as its unreported background. (The dragger had been in prison and had been repeatedly sexually assaulted by Black gangs while there.)
Prison is a not nice place full of very bad people, and in it people learn that the only safetly they have is by ganging up with their race.
I don't see this ending any time soon. Several stories about it have been posted on FR in the last few months.
Yes, you are correct about the prisons and I agree that they will not change in the near future.
It would appear that we spend enough money, to have the prisons run, in a better manner.
Forming gangs, is normal, I see it often in the feral cats, they too choose sides and attack anyone who intrudes.
The Las Vegas station is KDWN 720 on Am dial or kdwn.com on computer.
KDWN was the one talking yesterday, about noon or they also have the local news at the half hour, it is also a Fox news station.
San Francisco is 810 on the AM dial, or kgo.com on the computer.
I listen to Dr. Bill Wattenberg and John Rothman on the weekends, but if nothing else is on, will listen to the others that are on at night, except for Ray Talifero, who in my opinion is a communist, preaching hate.
Colorado is KOA , 850 on Am radio or 850koa.com on computer.
I listen to all the night programs on all 3 stations, as except for KDWN, they do not come in on my radio in the daytime.
I have listened to them for years and the driveby shootings have grown over the years, to now be daily.
Las Vegas admits to having a gang problem, 400 to 800 of them. That is per the ex Sheriff, who did a monthly visit on the morning program for years.
KDWN changed owners a few months ago, so has more news now, local and world.
All of the stations, are on the computer, but I am still on dial up internet connection and it is not worth fighting for me.
John Rothman will be on KGO in a few minutes, he is a lefty, but he also is a wise man, and does do a good job on the war on terror and the Jewish connection to the world.

Right now the congress is considering amnesty. If the bills go through it will pretty much zone out conservatives from the presidency indefinitely.
This could be stopped if it could be brought to the attention of the national press & TV that more americans have been killed by illegals than have been killed in Iraq & Afghanistan.
The feds have done a good job of hiding this info.
People have tried to infer the results. and you'll see plenty of articles stating that anywhere from 800-4000 Americans are killed annually by illegals but they're not based on hard data. They're inferred from numbers that the feds do make available. 16600+ murders were committed last year and 27% of the people in the federal prison are illegal. However, that's not good enough.
Any way of getting hard numbers that public people can stand on would significantly effect the outcome of deliberations in congress.

The Zoot Suit riots are often dismissed as "racist paranoia", i.e., there is nothing new under the sun.
I also thought the Gov was hiding facts from us, and have decided that the Gov releases far more than we will ever hear or read in the national news.
The Feds release all kinds of reports, more than one person can keep up with.
There have been several raids on gangs in my area, it is reported on the local radio, once or twice, and that is the end of it.
To report on the gangs and illegals at home would detract from the "hate Bush" goal of the left.
I have lost the url for the Fed. website, that reported on trials, ran across it about a year ago.

I do not know how to get the media to report the truth.
Due to health, I am not able to call the talk shows, but if you can discuss your subject, clearly and with facts, some will welcome you.
Start with the local talk shows if you have them, the old KDWN radio, had 2 that I called. The new KDWN now has all national shows and there is no way, that I could hold a phone while waiting to get on.
You might be able to get the info into "Letters to the Editor" or the opinion section of the news papers.
Or start a blog, there are not that many on gangs.
Try Yahoo Groups and Google Groups. Start a group, and post the info.
If it is a Google Group, it will be picked up on some of the Google searches.
I often post items found in Google Groups, and find it to be an excellent source of articles that are old.
Read the WT thread, you will find that I have often posted links for the others to go and search, as well as the articles.
