Corzine-Kushner group crunching numbers to make offer for Nets --- Star-Ledger headline
EXCERPT Sen. Jon Corzine (D-N.J.) and real estate magnate Charles Kushner, leaders of a New Jersey investor group vying to buy the Nets, hunkered down yesterday with their lawyers, accountants and bankers to decide how much to offer for the team.
A principal owner of YankeeNets, which owns the basketball team, said the meetings in Morristown would continue through the Labor Day weekend. By the middle of next week, he said, the group would decide how much to pay and where the team would play its home games --the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford or a proposed Newark arena.

COMMENT What they didn't mention is the mega-bucks the Nets would be worth AFTER AC travels north installing gambling through Xanadu, internationalizing Teterboro Airport, and the EnCap developments.
This amounts to insider trading--just what ex-Goldman-Sachs head Corzine seems to be used to.

Harry Thomason's wife was one of Hillary's closest friends - and she was very Hollyweird connected. Wasn't she a producer of Golden Girls and that other southern women's show ..?? In watching some of the oldies of those programs .. you can see the obvious negative comments about the first Bush admin - as well as other smarmy comments.
These dems have been trash talking for a long time .. Dean has just made it more visable. I hope it's making people more aware of the false face of the dems.
