That's right outside the gate at Eglin AFB ~ about a year and a half ago. There's a really cool museum with a bunch of aircraft that you can actually look at and touch.
Why do I feel a Thelma and Louise moment coming on?? He he he!
Thank you for sharing the prayers with us here in the Canteen to honor our great Military.
Our Troops and the prayers are very much appreciated.
You have to travel farther west!!!! :)
Hey Star, you got my buddy there with ya!! LOL
Ok - we'll be by to pick you up in, what 10 hours?? *G* We will be doing 120 right, patton?
Do ya think!!! LOL! I guess I am just emotional tonight. The Mayor just posted on another thread the news of a friend of his that had died in Iraq and that with your prayer got to me!
I was a tanker crew chief, on a Q model with teh old J-57 engine, and then on an R Model with the big CFM56 high-bypass hoovers.

One of these days, I'm going to get an RV and visit aviaition museums until my poor wife slugs me.
Just a natural Doubting Thomas.
I dunno - I ain't real into driving that $40,000 car off cliffs.
I'll be ready with bells on! Only 120???? Sheeesh!
Oh, the only association I have with the Blackbird is pure love for it! My hubby was in the Air Force but was already out before we knew about it. But we both just love military aircraft, and especially this beauty! I would kill to get to see one in person! LOL!
