Will Larry King be getting beat by Headline news soon, lol!

The fact that Nancy Grace beats the rest of the line up says more about the rest of the line up than Nancy Grace

She's a great interviewer and stays on top of stories. I'd hardly call her a "lib." Seems pretty conservative to me. She's a former prosecutor and native Southerner and she's sharp and quick.
To: varina davis
She was all over that Aruba story, I think she's better than Greta.
To: varina davis
I enjoy her...she uses some vinegar in her approach.

Nancy Grance ... Nancy Grace.
The spelling of her name is as important as her ratings.
All hail Nancy, whoever you are. In the realm of importance, you rule!

I like to watch her because she's sort of like me. She tends to think EVERYONE her shows are about is guilty.

I've been a fan of hers since the Court TV days and the OJ trial.
To: bannie
She was an undefeated prosecutor, showcases victims of crime, hates defense lawyers, thinks Saddam should have been killed instead of going to trial, regularly honors soldiers, (waves her American flag during those segments), I get the feeling she is not terribly political, but seems to be on the right side of issues of crime and punishment.
To: gopwinsin04
Totally professional face. The prosecutor side emerges even on TV.......

From what I have seen, she always supports the victim.
She was the first to report the incompetence of the Arubian police.
I've been watching her since I heard she supported Terri Schindler-Schiavo's right to live.
E.D. Hill on Fox News has said she believes Michael Jackson is innocent and hopes he goes back to entertaining after the trial. Nancy Grace makes no bones about what she thinks and stresses all the pornography Michael Jackson had in his bedroom. It may have been legal, but it would certainly be considered pornography of children (young teen boys) by most of us. The networks are not allowed to show the pictures on TV. He also had heterosexual pornography for the boys he planned to seduce and some bondage Barbie dolls in his office. E.D. Hill may want to believe that Michael Jackson is asexual and can innocently sleep with boys, but she never explains the pornography or liquor that Jackson gave to young boys.
Nancy Grace uses common sense on cases. This is why she is becoming so popular.
To: Red Badger
It doesn't suprise me that she was undefeated as a prosecutor. She is an excellent communicator
To: gopwinsin04
It helps if your opponent is really guilty.......

Yes, common sense is so rare on TV anymore, she is not PC.
We should support and raise her ratings, and hopefully networks will copy a winner.
To: Red Badger
She lays out that syrupy southern charm and it is all over...
To: Armedanddangerous
"She tends to think EVERYONE her shows are about is guilty."
You hit the nail on the head there. She is a bit over-dramatic, with the long pauses and such, but at the same time, I can't help but like her.
To: FR_addict
You got that right.
Wasn't she also the victim of a brutal rape in the past?
To: gopwinsin04
It's never good news when Lou Dobbs takes a hit. He is the ONLY member of the media on the Immigration problem 24/7.
As for the Drama Queen. She can let her makeup run like Tammy Faye all she wants. She's not on in MY house.

Greta Van Susteren's ratings are 2 and 3 and 4x's Grace's That may be, but for me, Greta Van Susteren is the best excuse I have to switch to ANYTHING else, period.
I sure enjoy the news programming at Fox, but far too much of their stuff is heading for (or gotten to be) People Magazine and National Enquirer for my tastes.
This week, it's as if nothing has happened anywhere except a missing teenager in Aruba and Michael Jackson.
I just get tired of it.

I read some reviewer who said he "can put her on mute and just enjoy her facial expressions".
Her dramatics are actually against the bad guys, instead of for their "bad childhoods" are silly but kind of refreshing.
To: conservativebabe

Not that I'm aware of. After her fiance was murdered, she decided to become a lawyer rather than an English teacher.

Exactly! I don't get the sense that she is liberal at all. She seems very tough on crime having had her boyfriend murdered during a holdup. She seems like she is pretty rock solid and from a religious background. I try to catch her a lot because she cuts off rambling guests and if they don't answer the question she goes to someone else on the panel.

O.K. Maybe that is it. I heard her say that she was a victim of crime, I assumed it was a rape. That's what I get for assuming.
To: conservativebabe
No rape; fiance murdered; she's taking her rage out on defendants. :-)
