Intervene and Protest Against IR Regime's Illegal Ballot Boxes On US Soil SMCCDI (Urgent Action) Jun 10, 2005

Dear Iranians, Dear Freedom Lovers,

The Islamic Republic (IR) regime has scheduled tens of illegal ballot boxes on the US soil. Such policy is nothing else than an illegal and desperate effort in order to legitimize its sham Presidential elections planned for June 17, 2005. Lacking of inside popular support and legitimacy, clerics are hoping that any outside participation can become an additional propaganda tool and an exchange token for their political survival that can give them a higher hand in their foreign negotiations.

That would be a great way to protest outside of where they are holding these sham elections. We just need to find out where they are being held within each city listed.

I think we need to step back and take a good hard look at ourselves. In the Iraqi elections we celebrated the fact that expatriate Iraqis could vote here in our country ... it was on the news every night. The candidates in the Iraqi election were Muslims. Now Iran is holding an election, the candidates are Muslims, and expatriate Iranians are going to be given the opportunity to vote here in our country. Why is one good and the other bad? I'm beginning to get confused.

I agree with you. Glad to hear some sense. It was beginning to sound like the Dems had taken over FR.

Just because a country isn't Conservatively Correct, doesn't mean we don't treat all equally.

So who's is on the ballot? I guess we can all vote since we don't have to show id. Maybe we can vote the mullah Mafia out.

We can accomplish this if we all were head to toe burkas and refuse to lift them and show our faces.

They're a FAR cry from being conservatively ANYTHING! These elections are all rigged, and they think they'll get credibility by this. We don't even have diplomatic relations with these terrorist thugs in charge there. This isn't some little tiff.

You're confused by the difference in free elections under the watchful eye of our guys, but, rigged elections offering no choices by thugs?

The Iranian opposition movement is boycotting the sham elections. I read this as a ploy by the Mullahs to attempt legitimacy. Hold on and let's wait for Dr. Zin to show up and explain it.

Iraq elections: Fair and open.

Iranian elections: Sham and rigged.

Of course, stopping them would probably be counter-productive. The eventual uprising in Iran is not going to come because of the election, it will come because the oppressed have finally had enough.
