...homosexuals are over 12% more likely to have been booked for illegal activity than heterosexuals...

That would explain prison behavior..............

Dr. James Cameron of the Family Research Institute

Reality says that anything produced by this group will be universally ignored as biased.
I tend to agree; not because I believe the conclusions to be fraudulent, but because it will be so claimed by the perverts and their supporters, and hence ineffectual.

I am not sure that there can be any "impartial" venue to make unwelcome news "acceptable".

Well... should we avoid homos because they tend to be criminals, or do they tend to be criminals because we avoid them?

Decisions, decisions, decisions.

So you are not surprised that perverts should be perverse?

The MSM will not like this story. It will be buried deep in the paper, if it is published at all. Very politically incorrect.

In fact, according to the study, homosexuals are over 12% more likely to have been booked for illegal activity than heterosexuals.

Hardly even a blip compared to black vs white criminal activity probability.

. In fact, according to the study, homosexuals are over 12% more likely to have been booked for illegal activity than heterosexuals.>>>>The data for criminality indicated that 22.8% of homosexuals have been booked for committing a crime, compared to 11% of heterosexuals.>>>>>

Which is it? I don't doubt the conclusion but it would be better if it were stated in a mathematically plausible way. Is there nobody writing who understands simple arithmetic? This sort of thing is all too common today. The comparative percentages of 22.8 versus ll would indicate that homosexuals are more than TWICE as likely to have been booked rather than "over 12% more likely". How am I supposed to grant credibility to someone who cannot even say what they mean?

I didn't write that.

Regardless, it's debatable whether "12% more likely" even qualifies as statistically significant.

Looks like > 100% to me. Someone "de-fanged" the first paragraph to sound better for homos than it really is.

"12% more likely" is bad wording.

Later in the article, it explains that 11% of heteros were criminals, versus 23% of homosexuals. So its more than 100% more likely.

All the article says is that the Family Research Institute is REPORTING the discovery of a CDC sponsored report on this survey. They seem "bemused" that the CDC has sat on these results for a year or more without releasing them.

I would like to see the underlying data, particularly the sampling techniques used to sample the people who responded to the survey, as well as the actual questions. Because the author of the report appears to have an agenda, I have a feeling that the conclusions are based upon statistical junk and/or statistical misrepresentations. For example, the article states that the "data for criminality indicated that 22.8% of homosexuals have been booked for committing a crime, compared to 11% of heterosexuals." BFD. The real issue is not how many queers vs. straights have been "booked" for a crime, but how many have been convicted of a crime. Why is conviction important? Because in the absence of conviction data, one might conclude that LEO's are more likely to arrest queers if only because they don't like queers. I would also like to know the details about the underlying crimes. Why? Because I suspect a large number of queers are arrested for disorderly conduct during acts of uncivil disobediance. In addition, "sodomy" remains a crime in many states and therefore, if queer on queer sodomy is included in the statistics, then the study also needs to include straight on straight sodomy.
