Japan, Russia.

So, the U.S. and Russia saved China's bacon in WW-II from those self-same Japanese. So what gives them the right now to invade and intimidate all those other countries? Or slow-invade Russia today, as Mexico is the U.S.? And menace the U.S. and commit numerous acts of war against us? And btw, since we have kept Japan peaceful, what excuse have they for their menacing moves against Japanese territory?

And don't forget that right along Kim Il Sung and their bellicose war-mongering DPRK is their Sock-Puppet.

It is high time the appeasement of the Chi-comms ended.

And don't repeat their thin pretext...."Well, the MAPS made us do it!!"

And if grudges account for anything...then it is the U.S. that is entitled to incinerate their whole blamed country from end to end in retribution for their atrocities in Korea.

Don't forget. Remember the Vets.

You are right, it is scary how much of our debt the Chinese own.

$620 billion at last count.

I found an interesting map probably drawn by a Chinese (you would also notice this map was uploaded on the Chinese site for the .cn suffix right clicking through properties to display its address) that represents their Chinese Nationalism (self-centerism). In this map, Japan is part of China. Southeast Asian countries, India and Australia are described as Special Administrative District (of China), and countries that are most friendly to China are given independence in the map (such as Pakistan). The pink area are all Chinese territory on this map. This is what the Chinese think about their influence in the far future and proves the imperialism dreams of Chinese. It was very shocking that Chinese were this aggressive.

Look at the maps section on The Dragon's Fury Site. During the fictional warfare, there are maps that look pretty much just like that.

Pinging.

What's the current Indian take? They aren't getting their heads turned by Chinese flattery, and the "Asian Century" are they?

"They aren't getting their heads turned by Chinese flattery, and the "Asian Century" are they?"

Not least likely. Just a little "bonhomie" to attract some business. I dont think there can be any defence deals or strategic alliance with China.....for now or for future.

"In that part of the world Russia and Japan have been much more expansionist/imperialist than China has."

Japan more expansionist/imperialist than China ? Are you still living in the 40s?

"Throughout history China has always been invaded by other people, rarely been the invader herself. You can make an argument for Tibet and Taiwan, but those are places that China considers part of China, not a foreign territory."

Tibet part of China? WOW! What a joke! So by the same count even Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Ladak, Aksai Chin and Assam qualifies as "part of China" right? So you invade them? So tomorrow you can consider India as part of China (and not a foreign territory) and you would have a case to invade it right?

"Those are all minor disputes. "

And the Chinese invade countries over minor issues. Just like the disputes with India, Vietnam and Tibet were minor issues.

Eh, what did I do now? :-P

Free Republic coming through loud and clear over here in Chengdu, China.

We are currently experiencing a new blackout of blogs.

It would appear that an accross the board blackout on Typepad accounts has gone into effect.

As for Paganini, I don't think he is posting from China. Some of his stories haven't matched up with other facts that I know.

Cheers!

"...except that 80 million of us are still armed, owning approximately 500 million weapons and several billion rounds of ammunition."

LOL

What scares me is someone just like Hillary could order confiscation of all of these guns.

Some of us would put up a fight, but it could very well happen.

Hillary and her ilk are as scared of the armed American citizen, even more so, than the Chinese IMHO.

She knows she walks a fine line there because if she or her cohorts ever push too hard, and that large group of people ever became truly enraged at the liberal/leftists/marxists/power mongers in this nation...well, after the curtain came down the Romanians are an example of what an enraged, armed populace is capable of doing to tyrants.

She fears that. The Chinese fear it from their own and that is why any tyranical government works so hard to keep the generaal populace disarmed.

A free government trusts its people to be armed...tyranny fears armed citizens and does all in its power to disarm them. That's an effective barometer to measure any government by IMHO, among other things.

Never thought of it that way, but it is true. There isn't too many free nations left. Just a handful that I can think of.

Sad!

Thankfully...we still have ours, despite the best efforts of leftists/marxists and tyrant wanna-be's and abettors even within the GOP.

As long as we do, and as long as there are tens of milions of people who continue to hold fast the foundational heritage and principles upon which this nation was founded (and there are tens of millions who do), then I am convinced we shall retain our freedom...albeit not without great sacrifice.

Having never been to OZ,It wouldn't be very smart of me to provide a clear cut view on this one!!though relatives who've been there say that the place looks inundated with Chinese migrants & students.

About the Indian stand, well Id say that it's bidding for time to see how the equations work out vis a vis the US,Pakistan,China,Japan among others.India's relations with the US &Japan(rarely talked about) are on a more firmer footing than those with the PRC.There has been & there will be talk about an Asian century for obvious reasons, but barring a fringe among Indian leftists,MOST people see India & China as being competitors in this.
