FReepers vs. Code Pink at Walter Reed, June 10 (Join us June 17!)
DC Chapter ^ | June 15, 2005 | BillF

Posted on 06/15/2005 10:55:44 PM PDT by BillF

For the ninth time in just over 10 weeks, DC Chapter FReepers conducted a FReep of Code Pink's anti-war protest at the gate of Walter Reed Army Medical Center, where many of the most severely wounded troops from the war in Iraq and Afghanistan are taken for continued treatment and rehabilitation. The FReep of the leftists' obscene blood dance was on the Friday night, June 10.

The honor roll of those in attendance: kristinn, tgslTakoma, bmwcyle, Apple Blossom, BufordP, lurker Joan, and BillF.  In contrast to our seven patriots, the leftists peaked at five or six  America-hating traitors, several of whom left early leaving only three of them for much of the time.

As has happened previously, a couple soldiers came over and briefly chatted with us. There were more honks for our side than honks for the leftists.

The Pinkos evil scheme is to fake friendship with soldiers in hopes of finding one or more who, vulnerable in their wounded state, can be manipulated into joining the anti-war movement and breaking faith with their fellow troops. The leftist numbers have been dropping and they seem to be running out of steam.  If we could get another ten or fifteen FReepers to show up for some of these FReeps and sufficiently outnumber the leftists, embarrassment may cause the leftists to stop these outrageous morale-damaging ("Maimed for a lie" was one of their signs on that night) demonstrations at the hospital. What about you? Can you spare a few hours on a Friday night?

For those of you in the DC area, we need some additional FReepers to join us for FReeping Code Pink every Friday night, until further notice, starting at 7:30 pm and until about 10 pm. How about coming out this Friday?

Can you sacrifice an evening to honor the much greater sacrifice that the troops are making for our freedom?

DC Chapter co-leader kristinn has confirmed that we shall continue FReeping the Code Pinkos every Friday night until they stop their obscene blood dance outside the hospital of our war-wounded. If you agree with me that it is outrageous for Code Pinkos to demonstrate at a hospital with war-wounded troops inside, please come out and join us in a peaceful counter-protest.

Please don't let the troops think that regular Americans are too busy with TV, ballgames, movies and other recreation to peacefully counter America-hating leftists.

Being there with us in spirit is great, but we need people to hold the MOAB (Mother of all banners), other signs, and flags. Maybe you can't come every week, but please make it your patriotic duty to join us at least once in the near future.

As always, the DC Chapter's rules for protesting will be in effect.

Briefly, they are: No violence. No profanity. No racism. No provocations. Obey the law. Treat all law enforcement officers with respect.

Start at 7:30 pm and go to about 10 pm.

Walter Reed Army Medical Center, 7200 Georgia Ave., at Elder St., NW

Code Pinkos have been setting up on the southwest corner of the Georgia Ave/Elder St intersection. We've been setting up on the northeast corner across the street from Walter Reed's entrance gate.

For Those of you close enough to go and Freep the Code Pink freaks, It's worth the trip to meet Kristinn and the folks from the DC Chapter. They are all GREAT people and they made us feel right at home among like-minded right thinking people when we were there in January.

Wish we could be there!!!!

Full beard in the works as opposed to goat. Hard to notice the sides from a distance because of all the gray.

BTW, other iterations of my Buford Pusser nickname, going back to my Red Lobster days in the mid 70's, was Muhammad Buford or Buford Ali. But not Mullah B.

Welcome. Some important info for you and any other new participants in our WRAMC counter demonstration: the DC Chapter has rules for protesting. They are fairly straightforward, and easy to remember.

Briefly, they are: No violence. No profanity. No racism. No provocations. Obey the law. Treat all law enforcement officers with respect.

Sometimes the Code Pinkos and their comrades will try to cause trouble, with "plants" and confrontations and such, but they go away when they learn we don't want to play with them.

Great! Keep spreading the word around Iraq about the activities of those traitors in Code Pink(o) who are continuing to $upport "the other side" (aka the insurgents) with money and medicine, thereby freeing up more money for them to spend on the explosives they are using to kill and maim our soldiers, Iraqi soldiers and police and Iraqi civilians, too.

They are evil, pure evil.

Full beard in the works as opposed to goat.

I have a full beard myself. Better than liquid sunblock so a full beard has a very practical purpose (at least that's what I told my mother a few weeks ago when she tried to talk me into shaving it off for the umpteenth time).

I'm 47 and this is my first beard. Not sure about keeping it yet. I'll give it a few more months before I decide. The first time Tiggles (tgslTakoma) saw me with the beard she directed me to the nearest dumpster.

Wife isn't too pleased.

I've had a full beard for 14 years and wouldn't think of shaving it off. The first month i came close to shaving it because it itched a bit. But after that no itchiness at all. In fact, I like the beard because it keeps my face warm in cold weather but MORE IMPORTANTLY keeps the sun off large parts of my face thus making less chance for skin cancer.

Right, Medea Benjamin likes to show up where she can cause the most trouble. She was the organizer behind the 1999 Seattle riots, but has toned down her stuff and now specializes in getting in to disrupt speeches such as the last inauguration speech of Pres. Bush, VP Cheney's speech at the GOP convention, etc.

We've FReeped her in person quite a few times including one time she showed up at the morale-sapping Pinkos' protest at Walter Reed. See below photos and click here: FReepers vs. Code Pink at Walter Reed (round IV w/ Medea & Murphy coming to our side)

From that FReep:

This sign made by tgslTakoma really upset Medea Benjamin so much that she lost her place in her speech last March in Fayetteville, NC:
