The father will no longer be able to see Joran after today. All 4 will be held another 8 days according to the owner of the Aruba Dario sp? newspaper being interviewed on Fox News.

Translation: Joran's father will no longer be able to tell him to keep his mouth shut in person....

They fixed it today but the new dehumidifier is next week.

I think everyone in the world screaming about Gitmo and the Pat act ought to look at their own justice systems. Can you imagine if we locked up someone for weeks with no lawyer.

Advise from Dad to murdering son: Don't clue them where the body is. No body found, and we got this rap beaten. You're off to school in Amerika, or back to drinking and gambling, my boy! You're mom and I are proud

that may be good legal advice, but from a practical point of view, the son's coming to America after beating a rap may prove to be a mistake..."something bad might happen" and American juries might find it hard to convict someone who gave him a taste of his own medicine...who's going to talk if someone dropped something a little more powerful than a date rape drug into his drink?

BTW, did you notice the school website, isaruba.com, is down? The other links I provided were still available through the cache. Thanks for posting the information.

JVDS is often referred to as an honor student. Last time I accessed the isaruba web site, the school stated student enrollment was 120 students for grades PK-12, <10 students/class.

Yes, just tried to access the school website without results.

With only 120 students, PreK-12, it is easy to be an honors student--very little competition!

If you have not read this, then it is a must read: Joran and a 14 yr old female Asian schoolmate.

You are a born detective.

He likes to sail on his yacht? Does he have a yacht?

Wouldn't the grades still have to be there? Wonder what grade his mother teaches?

I'm not sure what is going on with the lawyers. Are they gathering up Aruba's 'dream team'?

the judge that ruled and interrogated the 3 today is a judge form Curacua....he is here and was asked to come because he is more experianced in these cases, he will return to curacao tonight and in the next hearing (in 8 days, if nothign happens before that) then a local judge will come back to habdle the case......in curaco the crime rate is much higher thatn ours, so they are more accostumed to treating crime related cases

Second link also show "Joran v.d.Sloot, accepted to St. Leo's College and College of the Atlantic, Florida".

His name is right under Max Arends.

All the negative publicity surrounding the disappearance of Natalee, and the involvement of (presumably) two ISA seniors, cannot be good for the International School of Aruba.

I believe his mom is the art instructor for the school.

As far as having the grades--yes, he would still have to have decent grades, but frequently when there are more students the challenge is greater. It appears JVDS has been a big fish in a very small pond.
