In Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, we took up riflery and archery with .22 rifles and smaller frame longbows. Probably couldn't happen in the UK.

Riflery? The UK Scouts might be allowed to knit. ....although those needles could be used as weapons, so you never know.

I believe air rifles are now out in the UK.
