The slave trade is real, very real. I saw a show not so long ago on FOX I believe where they actually bought slaves.

My other guess is she was drunk and they gave her a drug in order to make it easier for the three to have sex with her and she overdosed and died. The body was then weighted down and dumped in the ocean by boat where sharks and crabs have eaten her remains.

This is essentially what I think happened. Since her disappearance, I've read other accounts of American women at this same bar - Carlos n Charlies - who say they were given GHB or some such stuff and raped.

I heard last night on TV where they were talking about how the island has changed recently to the "Wild On" show mentality.

The US government is quite spineless when events like this happen. We left over 8,300 Americans in Korea. I have a book with vivid stories of people who were in prison camps in N. Korea after they were captured. Many F 86 pilots were shipped to China and Russia to aid their aviation program.

I know a person who knows names of people who were alive in Viet Nam when the war was over and have never come back.
We have over 80,000 missing in WW2. Aparently no one really cares or something would be done.
SAD that our government can't get them back if they are still alive.

..not on Aruba,... but Jamaica was where a Frommer's travel agent, reseaching places to stay for the travel guide, disappeared without a trace not too long ago.

I saw that also on Greta. I think that's true just about everywhere, though. Places that once were pristine and pleasant all seem to have turned into a frat party.

I was waiting for someone with a connection to a boat to appear. I really don't believe that she is on the island now in any capacity. I fear the worst at this time.

Yes, its way overblown. And with all due respect, getting boring. It's a sad situation, but that's the risk you take going out of country when you're a teenager unchaperoned and drinking in clubs at all hours. why do high school students need a graduatioon trip to Aruba? Still can't figure that one out.

why does the news media ignore the missing and presumed dead ugly people?

bias; but the corruption and cover-up of obvious murder in aruba is what's increasing the attention.

why isn't the MSM interested in the unexplained murders associated with the clinton machine?

I would like to clarify the story. I am from Aruba, and it is my understanding that three waiter asked her to go to the same club where Natalee was last seen, but she refused.
She dissapeared from the ship between 5-6 am but it was no longer in Aruba. It was enroute to Curacao a nearby Island.
That is where someone supossidly saw her last in a brothel. Don't know if that part is true, but her parents confirmed she did not leave the ship with the three waiters who were not from Aruba, they were workers on a cruise ship out of Florida.

Ridiculous.

You must have been there, or must have been following the story since 1998. Right.

He is talking about another case. The gal from the cruise ship that went missing back in 1989 I believe.

Well...there's kidnapping and slavery going on in the Sudan,Zimbabwe, etc. and the media somehow manages to overlook them. You are onto something!

I was clarifying the fact that Curacao was mentioned as to where this other girl was as if it was in Aruba. Look at a map and see that it's a different island.

The ship was coming from Curacao and heading to Aruba. Amy was last seen on the ship between 5 and 6 am right before the ship made port in Aruba.
