"I can't recall seeing this same passion from you when a Bible is desecrated.
If you were only consistent."
Because Christians are the majority in this country. A burnt Bible doesn't have the same implications as when a minority group is threatened. It's like when the Ku Klux Klan burnt crosses on blacks' property or when Jews had their stores and synagogues burnt down in Kristallnacht. Of course, burning Korans is on a much lower scale; but the issue here is the safety of a minority.
Personally, I think all Muslim non-citizens should be sent home; but condoning brutal and stupid actions like this doesn't do us any good.

Listen closely. It's 'HOORAAH'.I stand corrected.
I did what I said I was going to do a few weeks ago and put a koran in the urinal of a bar near me.
Good for you.
I can't decide what to do with my half of the koran, so here it sits waiting for me to make up my mind.
I use the little blue book insert as a coaster on my desk. It makes a pretty good sponge. :-)

"Hooah!" is equally accepted (
Military slang) and very much appreciated! Thanks to all you "Hooah"ers for sounding off!

Wow! A well-rounded and accurate description. You've had previous encounters I take it :-)

"Hooah!" I believe is Army Airborne. "Hoorah!" is Marine. It can vary by locale and assignment into a mushy black hole of meaninglessness.

There you go, holey as in a lot of holes on it. Speaking of the Browning, I am saving for a new Over/Under Citori, a light one, something like Citori Superlight Feather 12 gauge, with English-style, straight grip stock, weighs 6 lbs 4 oz.

I looked.
What "brutal and stupid actions"?
Burning a bunch of books?
Also re: the Bible being a majority book here in this culture, so the poor ol islamists being a minority here now, (Lord willing FOREVER), so they, poor minority that they are, are justified in being "sensitive" faux argument fails on it's face.
Since wherever islam is the majority, messing with the kore ann will get you killed by a shrieking mob.
The difference is theology and DOGMA. Christianity is life, islam is death.
It has f---all to do with geography except as it applies to the status of islam. Where islam is majority you see the true face of the moon "god" black rock death cult.
Where islam is in minority it strives to gain exceptional/special treatment. ie. the current US military rules for handling of the kore ann. Which as far as anyone with a Constitutional brain can see is special treatment of islam.
Therefore on it's face unconstitutional, like that matters to the islamists, and their apologists, and fifth columnists.
The rest of us Americans beg to differ. Rather we INSIST.
Either start handling all religion's holy books with the same treatment or CEASE treating islam in any special way.
Then listen to the islamists and their apologists cry like little girls.

Sheets Byrd may have some pointers about constructing a cross with 4 x 4s and the preferred way to burn it!

why is this koran called a 'holy' book - its a load of pig crap dreamed up by a pedophile warmonger!
To: ambrose
It's just some paper and wouldn't be expected to last in its present form more than a blink of an eye in eternal terms. One reason why we don't worship idols. Nothing on earth is expected to be eternal. It was not a friendly act, but that is a different matter.
